The Night Before

PROLOGUE

"Dad Pls don't leave am only 6,I need you" I sobbed. He smirked looking into my eyes with great pain," My sweet Cassie I will always be with you everywhere you go" he said robbing his hand on my face
This tragic event happened on 7th July 2007 in front of my house in a forest.
Blake Jefferson(My late dad) was a shadow Hunter a human who fight supernaturals,and you already know me Cassie Jefferson and my mother Esther Jefferson I will tell you all about her but first let me continue from where I stopped.
My mom was furious and scared,I tried comforting but she keeps driving me away from her
The next day my dad was buried silently at the back of the house
This the part where I am going to tell you about my mom
We walked back into the house going down the the basement with my mom,"Mom why are we here?"I asked sheepishly."you are here to know who you really are" she replied.
I was still confused and had no clue what she was saying,she explains further" you are from a lineage of the most powerful witches in history"
she brings a book from the shelf "this is the Alexandra family tree,and your the last
meaning your the powerful of all witches and you need to start practicing magic" she explained
I doubted for second there and thought my mom was crazy then I recalled some strange things I did like being so angry that I summoned lighting on a sunny day,so from there I started practicing all kinds of magic like

Elemental

Elemental magic users command forces of nature. Some can bend water to their will, some are able to cause mold soil, and other can conjure fire or create an electric current. Elemental mages can cause a great deal of damage. Most work in manufacturing. The greatest elemental Houses tend to run industrial and construction corporations.

Pyrokinesis - mastery over fire.

Aquakinesis - mastery over water.

Geokinesis - mastery over earth.

Aerokinesis - mastery over air.

Fulgurkinesis - mastery over lightning.

Mental

Magic of the mind would be best described as magic of the will. This category includes a slew of powers that rely on the will of the user. The mental talents are many and varied, from telekinesis, which can be used to a devastating effect, to harmonizing, which enables the mage to make beautiful flower arrangements.

Telekinesis - ability to move objects with your mind.

Projection - ability to transmit images and feelings to the minds of other.

Therionology - ability to command animals. Practitioners are usually known as animal mages. Rare.

Harmonizing - ability to arrange one's environment to invoke a specific feeling or mood.

Elenchus - ability to distinguish lie from truth, also known as Truth seeking. Extremely rare.

Arcane

The word "arcane" means known or understood by very few. True to definition, the arcane branch of magic talents is poorly understood even by those who are born with these magic powers. Power of arcane magic users comes from reaching into arcane realm, a place of magic outside of our typical reality. Their talents are frequently disturbing.

Enerkinesis - mastery over magic energy.

Summoning - ability to cause manifestation of creatures.

Animating - ability to impart life to inanimate objects.

Binding - ability to fuse or bind something found in the arcane realm to human host with purpose of giving the host new magic powers.

AFTER 5 YEARS
Well guys am 16 and today is prom and am all dressed
Well I have blonde hair,fair in complexion,black eyes and wearing a straight black gown with diamond dots on the chest with no hand with a black buckled high heel
"Mom! am using you car" I yelled,"OK! Pls be safe" she said kissing me on the forehead

A few Minutes after I left,my mom heard a knock on the door, she wasn't expecting an guest so she went close to take a peak to her surprise I was an unpleasant guest
The door busted open,"Esther my sister"she said."Abigail,I thought I killed you when I stole the necronomicon" she said with fear
" well my dear you are wrong, I did a protection spell to protect me" she whispered in my mother's left hear
"Give me the necronomicon and I will forgive and let you live"she demanded.
" you don't care about the coven,the book puts a curse on the witches in the coven which states that it will draw power from all the witches in that coven till there die,I know it gives the elders and you the power it draws but when there is no more witches in the coven it will start draining power from you and the elders and all the coven will die"she blurt.
"You lie, the book give us power as long as it feeds" she said refusing to believe the truth.
"When there is no one to feed what then happens ah" she interrupted.
"ENOUGH!!" She yelled, "am done negotiating the book now".
" I will rather die to see that book open again"she said sacrificing herself,but before she died she used magic to make a letter for Cassie and hide the book enchanting "avara ukuw dem amendis"
" your wish is my command"she said .enchanting "agrino", twist her hand and closing it,my mom was gasping for breath and died slowly.
Me innocently coming from prom with my mom's car saw the door opened I was worried because my mom never opens the door wide open,i quickly ran out of the car and walked up the stairs to my lose I saw my mom dead on the door step.
My body weakens and fall to the floor and sobbed luckily Alex was there to comfort me.
Then Abigail whispered at the back of me " what a lose".
"You"facing her in the face " you did this,my mom warned my about,you monster!!!" I yelled
"No honey am not the monster,she didn't give me something so I did this,same goes to you if you don't give me the necronomicon I give you 1 minute"she threatened me
I told Alex to hide,then there after I dragged my mom body inside and locked the door
Alex eyes glared at what he saw.
