"Guys, I know it's a bit late in the season, but we aren't doing to hot. That's why our new student here is going to help us. This is Jacob he just moved here." He gestured to the new boy, tall and muscular, his blond hair gelled to perfection and his tan was straight off the beach. "Jacob I think it would be good for you to tell the team about yourself."
"I'm from Hawaii, I was the best player on my team there and I will be here too." I hate him already, " I workout for fun and eat raw eggs for breakfast." This is not going to end well, "I had to leave the island and the surf because the scouting on the mainland is better." I guess that makes sense, "oh and, I personally believe that girls have no place on a football field." He looked me in the eyes at that comment, oh it's on.
" Well look here Goldie Locks, your gonna need a real big attitude adjustment because you see him over there?" Travis Mcreedy pointed at Lyle, "that's Lyle and he's our best player." Lyle runs his hands through his brown hair before giving Jacob a little wave. "And my ma said that eatin' raw eggs can get ya real sick."
"Thank you for your health tip cowboy, but look I'm alive. And as for you," he turned to Lyle, " we will settle this on the field."
"We have turf here in sunny Southern California, I guess you have grass on your tiny Hawaiian fields." I'd never seen Lyle so annoyed. "Oh, and you not thinking girls have a place on the football felid has to change, that girl over there? Ya, she can make your football life a living hell, say hi to her dad, the coach." Lyle turned his attention back to his cleats that he was trying to lace up.
"That's enough introductions, GUYS OUT ON THE FIELD NOW!" Coach pointed at me, "Aurora if those bottles aren't out there and filled in 5 minutes you are washing the practice jerseys tonight." He stormed out of the locker room slamming the door behind him, thanks a lot Jacob.
