chapter 20 the friendly one

              -2 days later-
It's been 2 days since the fight Zeke had with faiths dad and so far the only one to come see her was Liz to drop off some clothes for her which she had to sneak in it wasn't easy for Zeke to hide her from the others either most of the time she was in zekes room and Tristan had been helping him with keeping her a secret but the others were gonna find out eventually

Right now Zeke was in his room with faith, Tristan, and even Sierra who they also snuck in

"I'm so bored theres not much to do in here" said faith

"Well I've been trying to bring you entertainment" said Zeke

"I know and I thank you for that but it's still boring why don't you have a TV in here"

"I dont really know but I can get one somehow tho"

"That would be nice thank you"

"Hey I gotta question" said Sierra

"What?" Asked faith

"Have you two been sleeping in the same bed together"

Zeke and faith blushed furiously "no we havent" said faith

"Yeah I let faith sleep on the bed and I sleep on the floor"

"Aww that's so nice of you" said Sierra

"Yeah Zeke is a nice guy" said Tristan

"Oh yeah do you guys mind if I stay the night I had a big fight with axel" asked Sierra

"Sure but I don't know where were gonna put you" said Tristan

"Can't I just sleep with you in your room like we used to do"

"I'm afraid not Wyatt is my roommate now"

"Well I could stay in zekes room with faith"

"I'm not gonna have my girl sleep in a room with another guy"

"I can just sleep in the spare room we got" said Zeke

"Well I guess that'll work"

Suddenly the door knob jiggled luckily the door was locked

"What!" Said Zeke

"You and Tristan come out and meet us outside you really gotta see this" the voice sounded like atoms

"Alright we'll be there in a second!" Said Tristan

"You think my dad's here" said faith

"Maybe if he is were screwed but I doubt he's here" said Zeke

"We'll let you guys know what happens" said Tristan

They then left the room and closed it hearing one of the girls lock the door behind them they then head downstairs and outside

They don't see faiths father but they do see a large zombie almost seven feet tall but what was the most surprising was that he was talking to Justin

They went up to angel

"What's going on how is that zombie talking" asked Tristan

Angel explained that her, patty, and Wyatt went out to go get some zombies for dinner they spotted a group and took out most of them but when they were about to kill the last one it spoke to them and asked to see are leader and talk to him

Zeke and Tristan then approached the zombie he had blond hair with shreadded clothes you could also see his ribcage and organs that no longer worked and one torn up leg his face was okay with only a few cut here and there with blood around his mouth

"How can you speak" asked Justin

"I honestly have no idea I just am able to" he said he had a nice strong voice

"Well how can you think like a human can"

"Well I don't know that either I just can think clearly"

"Well the only other zombie who can talk and think clearly is the zombie king are you his son or something"

"No I was bitten" he lifted up his shirt to show a bite mark on his stomach "I turned into a zombie fighting one off buying my family enough time to escape"

"Very noble"

"Yes it was"

"Right after you turned did you start thinking clearly"

"Not at first no but over time little by little it all came back soon I was able to talk and think clearly like I used to when I was alive"

"And why come here"

"I need a place to stay"

"And out of everywhere you choose the werewolfs as a person to ask for a place to stay you do know what we do to zombies right"

"Yes I do I'm well aware that you eat us but I return for letting me live here I can offer my services and protection"

"And what exactly can you do"

"Well I was already strong when I was human being a zombie somehow more then tripled it"

"Care to give us a dimenstration" asked atom

"Well of course"

The zombie walked over to a tree that was by the cabin put his arms around it and grunted as the tree was uprooted as he held it above his head with both hands then threw it over the cabin as it landed about ten feet behind the cabin

"Well that was impressive" said Wyatt

Justin thought for a minute "how do we know we can trust you we've already lost one member of are pack to a zombie how do we know you won't do the same to us"

"You can trust me I've only been eating humans cause I have no choice in the matter but I have found that I can also eat my fellow zombies but when a human will hold my hunger for up to six days a zombie will only hold it for a day so I'll need to be fed daily"

"That won't be a problem of course"

Justin continued to think for a few minutes

"Alright you can stay but if I so much as even see you think about eating or bitting one of us I'll kill you myself then atom will cook you up and we'll have a nice meal understand"

"I understand you won't regret this I promise"

"Also what is your name"

"Joe, Joe Henley"

"Well welcome joe, angel get him some new clothes that'll fit him you can sleep in are spare bedroom we have and if you can take a shower"

"Yes sir" they then all led him inside Justin and Tristan went upstairs to zekes room and explained to the girls what happened

"Wow that's amazing" said Sierra

"But where are you gonna sleep tonight with the zombie taking the spare room"

"Well I guess I'll sleep on the couch in the living room"

"Won't that seem a little supisous" said Tristan

"They'll be too concerned with Joe to care or even notice that I'm there"

"Well I hope your right"
