The Orphanage Ep. 1

[Mako and Miko sit in their room playing with their stuff animals. Miko looked over at Mako]

Miko: Want to play a game?

[Mako looked at Miko]

Mako: Ok, what is it? better not be anything stupid

[Miko gasped dramatically]

Miko: are you saying my games are stupid?

Mako: No, I'm saying it better not be stupid

Miko: Ok fine

[He thinks of something Mako might like that isn't stupid]

Miko: Ummm... Tag?

[Mako smiled and nodded]

Mako: Yea sure

[Mako tapped Miko's shoulder]

Mako: Your it

[Mako ran out the room]

Miko: H-Hey! I wasn't even ready!

[Miko got up and ran after Mako]

Miko: Dont go near father

Mako: I wont

[Mako accidentally bumped into their father. Mako looked up at him scared as Miko stopped running staring at their father]

Miko: ...

Mako: I-I'm sorry father

[Mako started shaking a little. Their father took Mako by his hair and pulled him to a room beating him with a belt. Mako starting crying and screaming as Miko ran up to the door and banged on it]

Miko: Mako!!! Leave him alone! Please father!! we will go back to our room I promise!

[Their father opened the door and stared at Miko angrily. He slapped him across the face]

Father: Go to your room or your next!

[Miko stood there rubbing his cheek and didn't move an inch. he wasn't going to leave his brother behind]

Miko: I'll go back only if you let Mako come with me

[Their father got angry and was about to slap Miko again until Mako grabbed his hand and stopped him]

Mako: Come on Miko!

[Mako grabbed Miko's hand and ran to their room locking the door. As soon as Mako locked the door Miko hugged him tightly and started crying]

Miko: I'm sorry... I let him hurt you so much...

[Mako rubbed his head softly and smiled]

Mako: I'm okay, I rather I get beat then you. I'm the one who will always protect you no matter what. your life comes before mine.

[Miko cried more]

Miko: But why... I dont want to lose you.. your all i have left! I dont want you to get hurt because of what I did! I killed mother not you!

[Mako got mad and grabbed his arms tightly shaking him roughly]

Mako: Listen to me! you did not kill mother and you know that!

[Mako was hurting Miko's arms by how hard he gripped onto them]

Miko: M-Mako... your hurting me..

[Mako didn't listen and kept his grip and kept yelling at him]
