Toby's P.O.V.
I blinked once. Twice. A third time, then finally the room came into focus. I was lying in a hospital bed. I looked around and saw everyone on their phones, not even realizing I was awake.
"God, what is it with this generation and their phones?" I said and they all looked up.
"TOBY!" Connor said and ran over to hug me. "Don't EVER scare me like that again. I.... I'm sorry."
"Connor it's not your fau-"
"No, I'm sorry for not being there for you. I feel like a shit brother."
"Why'd you do it?" Riley asked.
"That's a conversation we have to have along Riley," I said hoping he got the hint.
"What? Why can't I know?" Connor complained.
"Connor please," I said.
"No, why can't I know? I'm the older brother I should be able to protect you. Toby, tell me. Why. I don't care how much it hurts me," Connor demanded.
I looked over to Riley to make sure he was ok with me telling him. He just shrugged and I decided I better tell him.
"Connor, the other day I, quite literally, bumped into a girl and I really like her."
"So? That's why you cut?"
"No. Riley didn't want me to be with her because she looks a hell lot like Louise..."
"Oh...."
"That's who I met a Starbucks. Her name is Cecilia. I couldn't be with her because that could've triggered you or something, so I thought if you guys saw how sad I was I could be with her."
"So it's my fault..." Riley said. "I'm sorry. I should've let you be with her."
"What? No of course not. It's no ones fault."
"Toby, I want you to date her," Connor said.
"Really?"
"Yeah. I can handle it."
A/n- this is where this story left off from the last time I wrote any of it. I know a lot of people were into this story for some reason but uh, sorry I couldn't finish it. I had a Riley one all planned out too. It's title also had something to do with death. I probably won't be adding to this anymore cuz I don't think anyone is even alive on this app anymore. Thank you all for reading.
