The Girl and Her Bridge

Chapter 1

Notebook, pencil case, textbook and calculator. 

Okay! I'm ready to head home. The bell just rang so we're probably dismissed unless Mr.Name hold us back against our will.

"Remember to complete text pages 405-406 questions 1-5. You are now dismissed." With that almost all the students got out of their chairs and headed towards the door leading into the hallway.

"Goodbye Mr.Name!" I shouted to Mr.Name. He seemed to be distracted with the report cards. Are report cards that stressful to make? Of course it's just notes on notes right? It can't be hard.

"See you later Sophie!" My friends chorus out in the background as I walk out of the classroom.

"Bye guys!" I wave to them and head off in the direction of the library. My parents aren't home until like 10 at night so I usually have a secret tutor to help me with my homework, my grades have been dropping lately so Mr.Name has gotten me a tutor.

~~Time Skip~~

Tutor was as boring as usual. Every single day, I would spend hours in that library working on my homework that I barely understood! Once I leave the school I start heading home, it's only 8:30 right now so it's kind of dark outside that I can't see past 5 meters without squinting. I head over to the Bridge of Memories, as I call it. Without this bridge, I wouldn't be able to get to my house. I's everything to me, my friends and my family. I remember the time when we did the trust game where a person gets blindfolded and their friends drag them somewhere. My friends are over the top with this! They lead me onto the Bridge of Memories and when they removed the blindfold, they pushed me into the pond! I was so scared at first but then, I had a lot of fun! We took turns jumping down into the pond and laughing. It has been forever since we did that.

As I stood on the bridge admiring the view, I spotted a black figure run through the forest, it was dark out so I couldn't tell what that was, I decided to take a closer look at it. It's probably still in the forest. I can catch it if I try!

The bridge is connected to a forest which probably explains that they're just animals. But, animals don't move so fast that its like a blur, or do they? I haven't been in a forest in a long time so, the chances of me getting lost are pretty high.

"Whoever you are, come out now. I won't harm you, I just want to help you!" I shouted into the woods.
