It'd been three days since I last spoke to Ace. He didn't text me and I knew better than to text a boy first, especially one I just met.

I started to notice him more in the hallway. I learned his route and I modified mine so that I could pass him, in hopes of catching his eyes. But Ace always looked dead and only ever stared forward.

I snooped around and learned that a lot of girls in our school thought he was attractive or had crushes on him. I wasn't even worried. Why would I be? I only wanted to fool around.

My science teacher went on and on about mitosis. I looked around to see if anyone else was bored and sure enough, most people were doodling or napping.

"Aye, Ms. Hunter! I need to pee." I raised my hand.

"Usually, students wait for the teacher to call on them before speaking." She crossed her arms.

"We're five months into the school year and you still don't know that I'm anything but usual." I blinked innocently.

"Just go." She sighed and turned back to reading from the study guide.

I walked into the hallway and spun twice with wide arms. I loved going on adventures in the middle of class. I skipped and leaped, drawing attention from a few students in other classes. I spun around the corner and lost my balance. I fell to my butt and scowled.

"You good?" Ace asked. He stood there, trying to hide his smile. It was the most emotion I'd ever seen from him. His brown hair was cut down from the last time I saw him.

I sat down there, rubbing my legs, waiting for him to offer me a hand.

"Um, hello?" I said with an obvious tone.

"Hi?" he replied. Stupid.

"Aren't you going to help me up?" I stared at him in disbelief.

"Oh yeah, sure." He extended a hand. I almost wanted to push it away, afraid of catching his stupidity.

"You're a Patriots fan?" I noticed his jersey.

"Yeah and they're winning the Superbowl this year." He smirked.

"Too bad they're not." I retorted.

"You wanna bet?" he scoffed.

"Hell yeah. And if I win, I want to," I paused, "Oh, never mind. You won't like it."

"No, tell me!" he pleaded.

"I want to," I tugged his collar, "to make out."

I studied his face, not sure of how he would react.

"That's not only beneficial for you. I'd like it too. If you win the bet, I'll go down on you. If I win, you go down on me." He proposed. I expected his hormones to be on board, but I didn't expect him to be this much into it.

"That's fair, but I still want to make out." I bit my lip.

"We can." He smirked. We stood in an awkward silence and I could tell he was shy.

"Well, text me." I said after a few moments. I walked away without looking back, just like how he hadn't looked back at me.

The same time I sat back down in class, I felt my phone vibrate in my back pocket. I smirked, knowing exactly who'd just texted me.

Ace: Hey, cutie

I didn't reply right away. I sat, loving my accomplishment, replaying the events that just occurred. I had him sucked in.

After five minutes, I replied to him. It was a good thing I sat in the back of Ms. Hunter's class. She was fresh out of teacher school and felt she had to be extra strict to be respected. Every new teacher should know that you have to earn your respect, not force it.

Me: Hey :))

Immediately, the dots, signaling he was typing, popped up.

Ace: were you serious earlier?

Me: I'm never not serious

Ace: when r we doing this?

Me: I have to work you into my schedule

Ace: huh?

Me: so you can come over on Friday night

Ace: ard

I clicked my phone off and couldn't stop smirking. Finally, I had a boy who I could call whenever I felt like it. He was someone I could go to when I was bored. The best part was that there were no feelings attached.

The bell rang and I quickly left from the classroom. The girls were standing at my locker since I called an emergency meeting before lunch.

"So Ace is coming over on Friday." I announced.

"Jeez, you work fast. What're ya'll gonna do?" Havoc asked.

"Make-out, I suppose." I shrugged.

"And nothing more, right?" Riley raised her eyebrows. I have to take a moment to dedicate this to her. Riley has always had my back and she's prevented me from making some very bad decisions. So, Riley, you are basically my guardian angel and thank you for never letting me do anything too stupid.

"Of course not. You know I'm waiting," I smiled proudly. I am a proud virgin. Some people don't believe it from the number of boys I fool around with. But it's just that. I flirt with them and nothing more unless I want to. People shouldn't be mad I'm cute. They should be mad that their crush thinks so.

"For Aidan? Please let him go." Spencer shook her head in disappoint.

"It would be nice for my first time to be with Aidan seeing as he's the only boy I love. But, he lives far away so we can't be together right now. Plus, Spencer, we don't mention his name!" I smiled, but I was glaring at her.

"Either you or Aidan will move on soon." Havoc pointed at. This was true, but I still hoped it wouldn't happen.

"Well this is why I don't want a relationship with anyone. I know that I will probably never be able to love anyone the way I love Aidan. No one deserves to be a second choice. All my hoes know they are just hoes. There is not one who thinks they're the only one." I replied.

"High school relationships are so overrated anyway." Riley said.

"Exactly, since you're bound to break-up afterwards." I agreed.

We passed Ace in the hallway and once again, he didn't catch my eyes. Would he ever?
