" Now boy I didn't say all that stop lying " I heard my mom shout , Anyway I stood up from my comfortable fortress & opened my door " Good morning bro " Joseph said picking me up & throwing me over his shoulder " Put me down you ass wipe " I shouted " Carter watch your mouth up in my house & Joseph put your brother down this instant " She said walking out her room in her work uniform

He smacked his teeth before setting me down on the floor " Suck your teeth again & your ass won't have none " she said eyeing him " I'm sorry mama " he smirked .She laughed before patting his shoulder as she walked downstairs " Anyway where is y'all little sister " she asked. " Right here mommy " Our younger sister Aaliyah said running outta her room ❤

" Morning Carter & Joseph " she greeted us so eagerly " Morning​ baby girl " Joseph said as she took turns hugging us before we walked downstairs towards the kitchen " Alright guys I have to go or I'm be late so your gonna have to eat cereal " she said sipping her cup of coffee . All three of us groaned in dissatisfaction " Mama you know I'm to bougie to eat cereal " I said rolling my eyes
" Well you gonna eat it today or find a way to cook something you too know how to cook so quit relying on me to cook " She lectured

We shook our heads in agreement before she walked over & kissed each of us on the cheek " Well I gotta go see you guys later " She said before heading out the door towards her car , She got in crunk up & took off , Me & Joseph sighed in relief " What you finna do nigga ? " he asked

" probably get in the pool " I shrugged , He shrugged " well you do whatever you want I might go chill with my shawty " he blushed , " Mhm " I mumbled " What about yo nigga what's good with him" he asked me , " what nigga !!? " I glared at him he started chuckling as he got on his phone & walked off.

I shook my head as I walked upstairs back to my room as I walked inside I checked my phone I had a message from..my on & off boyfriend john

I chuckled at the text but then I started to think of all the shit I done went through with him........

Flashback :

" NO NO NO I'M DONE fuck you that's it " I shouted as I pushed him before hurriedly walking out his house

" Bae please let's talk about this bruh , come back & talk to me " he pleaded as I walked down the street until I was no longer on his street , As I reached my house I seen my mom pull up in the driveway from the grocery store , My brother & sister walked out the house to greet my mom 😔

" Hey Carter come help with th-" she said before fully staring at me , " Baby what's wrong " she asked full of concern walking towards me , " H-H- He " I tried to get out 😫 . " He what what happened " she asked , " John hit me " I spoke as tears ran down my face

She grabbed me & pulled me into a hug as I wiped my tears , Joseph & Aaliyah came over to comfort me " Man Carter don't cry over him & I promise when I see him I'm fighting him on sight " Joseph said honestly trying not to curse " Why would he hit me I never done anything I've gave him my all and this is what I get " I said

My dad then pulled in the driveway with a smile on his face until he looked at our face he then looked a bit concerned as he got out his car " What's wrong with my son ? " he asked " Nothing he'll be ok " my mom said not looking his way 👀

" Vanessa what is wrong with Carter !!?" he asked more sternly " Joe it is none of your concern right now we'll talk in a minute " she snapped . Next thing you know " he " walked up " Carter " he called out before we could say anything Joseph walked thru us

" So what's good nigga you hit my brother right " he asked before pouncing on him they instantly fell in the grass fighting , They was delivering blow after blow " STOP , STOP STOP STOP STOP " my mother screamed as her & my dad ran over trying to break up the fight , I looked over my sister was crying I instantly picked her up & tried to calm her down.

" Fuck nigga hit my brother again & I'll kill you " Joseph shouted as dad held him back , As John stood up he fixed himself " I just wanted to talk to Carter man " he said walking towards me " Stay away from me I have nothing to say to you " I said holding on to my sister as she kept crying " Carter please I just wanna talk I'm sorry for putting my hands on you " he pleaded .

" Fuck nigga get away from my brother " Joseph shouted trying to run towards him but dad grabbed him " Carter just....can we talk please I promise I'm do better " he pleaded again , My mother than walked over " My son says he doesn't wanna talk to you so I suggest you get off my property or I will call the police" she snapped 💁

He took one look at me " Carter just hear me out I promise I'm do better " he said before walking away , " Man nigga my brother don't want yo ass no more fuck you mean nigga " Joseph said walking towards him before my dad grabbed him , " Son go in the house now !!! " he said pointing towards the door " No everybody in the house now me & your father will get the groceries " she instructed 🙄

Me & Joseph nodded our heads before we walked into the house with a now calm Aaliyah still in my arms...........

" Bro you good " I jumped at the sound of his voice , Me & him laughed as I stood from my bed " Yeah just had a flashback of the time that nigga hit me " I chuckled " Yeah & I beat that nigga ass too " He laughed "Yeah that was a rough day for me " i shrugged .

" Aye that's yo nigga though " He chuckled " last time I checked I was single " I stated 💁 Before he could get a word out...
