Looking up at him, I feel my pulse quicken, my breath hitch and a smile make its way to my face. I try not to look for too long, feeling the fear of what we are doing creep up on me. He tries to hide his grin as he walks around the room, his long strides creating a draft that inches its way up my arms. I try to concentrate, I really do, but it's so difficult. His voice echoes around the room as he calls out for everyone to leave. Once they do, I walk over to him as he moves to click the lock on the door. I melt into him as he says:
"I missed you yesterday, Evelyn". The way my name slides effortlessly out of his mouth makes my head spin.
"Sorry Max, it's not my fault I got sick. And anyway, I'm sure you had other things to keep you occupied for the day" I reply to him, my arms making their way around his shoulders.
"It's not the same without you. I can't teach properly when you're not here. It makes life miserable" I hear him mumble. He leans in to kiss me.
"Max, we can't" I say slowly, pushing him backwards slightly, making some distance between us both. He gives me a small smile as he lets me go. The guilt rips through me as I understand how he must feel. It's like having a piece of cake in front of you all day, but you're not allowed to eat it. It's the worst feeling in the world. I run back to him and he catches me easily in his muscular arms. I look at him with a smile on my face and kiss him quickly. I start to move away but his arms have me trapped.
"Now, where do you think you're going, Miss Collins?" He asks, his voice no more than a whisper. His eyes light up, knowing I am helpless against him.
"I'm waiting, Evelyn." Pulling me close to him, I surrender, kissing him with more force, more passion, more feeling. I feel him grin against me. We both pull away, feeling extremely happy. As I look at the clock, my heart skips a beat.
"Sorry Mr Kingsley, this is going to have to wait, I need to get to next lesson" I say to him, pulling him back to Earth. He smirks and nods, straightening himself up as he unlocks the door to let me out. Picking the late pass from the table, I gather my things and make my way to the door. I can't help but smirk while the words leave my mouth.
"I'll see you after school, Sir."
