Maya:

I'm excited to go to Canada for the tour break but I'm also very nervous.

Today is our second last day and me and Shawn are having a picnic in the park. "So I was wondering..." he started and scratched the back of his neck. "Yeah?" I asked and turned my body towards him so I could see him clearly.

"We've been together now for like 5 months and well... you know I really like you, and I love you. So-" he said and paused.

Butterflies were going wild in my tummy. Is this it? Will he finally ask me?

"With the help of Aaliyah I chose this." He said and pulled out a long black box out of his bag. "Shawn you didn't have to." I said but he cut me off.

"You didn't let me finish. I bought you this more like a promise. It's not a promise ring but, Maya. I love you. Will you please do me the greatest honor and be my girlfriend?" He asked, his cheeks becoming a light crimson red and I smiled.

I felt the tears in my eyes. He is so sweet.

"Maya?" He questioned with worry in his eyes and I realized I've been in thought this whole time. "Oh yes sorry. It'll be the greatest honor." I said and he smiled at me. "Yes." He said under his breath and threw his fist in the air.

He handed me the box and I hugged him so tight.

I pulled away and opened the box. "Wow. Shawn it's beautiful." I said admiring the necklace that has a small 'S&M' in a golden heart.

"I love it." I said and kissed his cheek. "So it's official?" He asked and I nodded. "Couldn't be more happier." I said and he blushed.

We haven't quite told his fans about us yet. They think we're just friends. "What are we gonna do about your fans?" I asked felling a little nervous all of the sudden.

He took my hand and caressed the top with his thumb. "We'll tell them if you want them to know already." He said and I nodded. "I think we can tell them." I said and he smiled. "Okay we'll do a live stream tonight." He said and kissed my cheek.

"You're to sweet Mendes." I said as we stood up, gathering all our things to go back to the hotel. We arrived there and Shawn walked into the lobby first. "Maya?" I heard a familiar voice.

I turned around and wasn't expecting to see him there.
