D.O. [ONE SHOT] ♥ insecurity

hi~ i wrote this because

1) i feel concerned for those women/girls who are insecure about themselves. i think it's a serious issue that needs to be taken into consideration if a person thinks she's/he's ugly, fat, not good enough, or they feel low of themselves, or is depressed.

2) i love the fact that kyungsoo chooses to love a girl who loves eating. i think it's actually rare for men these days to want a girlfriend/wife who's into food. i mean ofc men likes their partner to be a good cook, but it's a different issue if their girl LOVES TO EAT~ and i think guys today prefer playing games or whatnots instead of staying home and cooking — which is one of the hundred reasons why i love kyungsoo 😌

About one hour before you leave the office, Kyungsoo calls you from your Line, "Baby, what time is your off today?" You're in the middle of piling up papers and signing them one by one. "I'm not sure baby, I've got loads of work in front of me." Then you heard a soft hmm. You can imagine Kyungsoo frowning on the other line. "Why baby? Missed me?" You teased. "Well, yes. I miss you a lot. But I also happen to see a good menu from the internet. We should try cook it! Let's buy the ingredients later! Is that okay?" You blushed. You love the hyper Kyungsoo. For the three years you've been secretly dating together, he's never changed. He's always excited and overjoyed when it comes to food and cooking. Your mandatory weekly date is him going to your house to try and cook new dishes with you, or you visiting the boys at their dorm to prepare dinner and sometimes, desserts for them. However, the only problem is that you're always alone when it comes to going to the supermarket to buy the ingredients since he can't be seen publicly especially with a girl. But you don't consider it as a problem as you'd do anything just to seize the times Kyungsoo is there with you as he's always busy. You love cooking and baking with the love of your life. It's no big deal. "Ah! Kyungsoo-ah! Of course! Sure! Let's cook it together!" You smiled.

"Ah! Yes! I'll send you the link for the recipe! See you at home later baby! Thank you! I'll be waiting! I love you!" Your heart melted with his sweetness. If people only knew that the SatanSoo image of Kyungsoo isn't really true, their heart would've melted too. "I love you too, Kyungsoo-ah. See you."

You immediately head off to the Supermarket upon receiving the link Kyungsoo sent. You were excited enough to cook with Kyungsoo that you didn't finish office hours because you wanted to spend more time as EXO's next comeback is near and he'll be busier than usual again. You were walking down the aisle along the Italian section of the supermarket browsing, reading, and looking for the ingredients when a man suddenly waved at you. You can't distinguish who it is until he's almost in front of you.

It was your ex-boyfriend, for Goodness sake! "Hey Cha! How are you? It's been a long time!" He exclaimed. "Oh hey, Lee! Sorry I didn't recognize you earlier." You said. "Ah, it's okay, of course! Eye issues, aye?" He smiled. He knows your eyesight is poor. You were surprisingly glad he remembers and then flashback of your dates with him came rushing into your mind and he never fails to fetch you on your house instead of meeting up because he knows you don't like looking for him in the crowd because of your poor eyesight. You then smiled. But it was interrupted by his next words, "Oh, Cha, by the way, I'd like you to meet my fiancée, Hana." Wow, she's super sexy and gorgeous! You both bowed, shook hands, and greet each other. After a few minutes of short chitchats and laughs on the side, they left. But after walking a few steps, you heard your ex-boyfriend's fiancée chuckling, "Are you sure she's your ex?" You heard Lee answered, "Yes, of course! She's Cha, the one I've told you about. My first love. Why?" Then Hana took a glimpse back at you, and before you could even look the other way, you saw her chuckle again. "Wow, I just can't believe I'm such an upgrade!" You turned around, feeling shamed, never wanting to hear more of her bashful words.
