I meet a lot of people that will say to me "Man I wish I was as tall as you!" No you don't , just trust me on this one.
1. Pants/Skirts/Dresses. Often times I can only buy pants from one store where they cost about $80 a pair. This would be due to the fact that most stores don't think about they population that is over 5'7" (they're probably like Nah, ain't no giraffes shoppin here!) and those pants end up looking like capris on me! I also can't find shorts, skirts, or dresses that don't make me look slutty because they barely cover my butt.
2. School desks. No, I'm not playing footsie, it's just that MY LEGS DON'T FIT UNDER THE TABLE! I also can't cross my legs, and if I trip you I'm very sorry, but please blame the desk manufacturers and not me. Thanks!
3. When my friends call shotgun I'm just like Yep, I wish I had one! Or road tripping with my tall parents and I get stuck in the backseat for hours and hours. I seriously believe that the people who make cars think that most people don't actually have legs.
4. "No I don't play basketball. Do you play mini golf?"
"Yes, I'm tall. No, the weather up here isn't any different!"
"Really? I had no clue that I was tall! Thanks so much for telling me!"
"Nope, I'm not wearing high heels, just flats."
When I tell people what I weigh and they forget to factor in my height. (actually the look on their faces is usually pretty funny)
5. Short friends. I can't hug short people without ending up hugging their head and giving them a face full of boobs. I have to walk slower with my friends as one of my steps equals about THREE of theirs! When they wear high heels they still are not as tall as me. Taking pictures is extremely awkward since I have to bend over/crouch or they have to stand on things.
6. Beds and blankets are not made for people who are not average or below. My feet hang of my bed! And usually I have to chose between cold feet or cold arms because my blanket is NOT LONG ENOUGH!
