Steve drove into the parking garage in Leipzig, parking next to the grey van already there. He climbed out and nodded at the other driver when he exited. "Cap," Clint greeted.
"You know I wouldn't have called if I had any other choice," Steve shook his hand.
"Hey, man, you're doing me a favor," Clint shook his head. "Besides, I owe a debt."
He gestured behind him as Pietro and Wanda climbed out of the van. "It's good to be out and moving again," Pietro smiled.
"Thanks for having our back," Steve told them.
"It was time to get off my ass," Wanda smirked.
"Where's the Bad Wolf?" Steve looked around as the others exited the car.
As if on cue, Jessie phased down through the upper levels of the garage, smiling widely. "There you are!" she ran up to them.
"Oh, thank God," Wanda ran to hug her.
"Thank you," Jessie told Clint sincerely. "For taking in Pietro, getting Wanda."
"Any time, J," Clint smiled.
"How about our other recruit?" Steve asked.
"He's raring to go," Clint nodded, sliding open the van door, revealing Sam's "guy" snoring away. When the door slammed open, he jerked awake. "Had to put a little coffee in him, but he should be good."
"What time zone is this?" the man asked, wincing and rubbing his head as he got up.
"Come on," Clint gestured him out. "Come on!"
He climbed out, then froze, seeing who was standing in front of him. "Captain America?"
"Mr. Lang," Steve nodded, shaking his hand.
"It's an honor," Scott Lang grinned, shaking his hand. "I'm shaking your hand too long!" Steve nodded slightly, and he quickly let go. "Wow! This is awesome! Captain America," he added to the Maximoffs, as if they didn't know who he was. "I know you, too. You're both great!" Pietro and Wanda exchanged looks, Jessie snickering at Scott's gob. "Jeez," Scott mumbled, hands on Steve's shoulders. "Ah, look, I wanna say, I know you know a lot of super people, so . . . thinks for thanking of me." Jessie snorted at that, and Scott winced, then brightened when he saw Sam. "Hey, man!"
"What's up, Tic Tac?" Sam smirked.
"Uh, good to see you," Scott nodded. "Look, what happened last time when I – "
"It was a great audition," Sam cut him off. "But it'll . . . it'll never happen again."
Steve looked back at Scott. "They tell you what we're up against?"
"Something about some psycho assassins?" Scott asked.
"We're outside the law on this one," Steve nodded. "So if you come with us, you're a wanted man."
Scott shrugged. "Yeah, well, what else is new?"
"We should get moving," Bucky said.
"We got a chopper lined up," Clint nodded.
A German announcement came over the intercom, making them look up. "They're evacuating the airport," Jessie narrowed her eyes.
"Stark," Martha closed her eyes.
