Hi, I'm Alex Fierro. I'm transgender and gender fluid. I am a resident of Hotel Valhalla, and my hall mates have been trying to set me up with my crush, Magnus Chase, for months. I've been waiting for him to make the first move though. But I've been waiting far to long, and I'm sick and tired of letting myself get in the way of me making the question split.
Magnus' POV
I love Alex. She is amazing. I don't think the feeling is mutual. I'm too scared to make the first move though. So I counsel her sister, Natalie.
"So," Natalie starts, "you love my sister. I can help with that, I believe. But the problem, you see, is that she's waiting for you to make the first move, because, it's a test in our family. The woman see if the man loves her enough to win her heart, even though she already loves the man-" She covers her mouth.
"Wait, a few questions. Your mom is Hecate, goddess of magic, right?"
She nods.
"And, you also said 'even though she already loves him.' So, does that mean-"
"I said to much. Just, don't tell her I told you," she interrupts. I nod.
"Time to take her out to falafel."
Alex's POV
I hear a knock on my door.
"Ye?"
Magnus comes in.
"Um, I was wondering if you, um-" Magnus starts.
"If I?" I reply.
"If you wanted to come to falafel with our hall mates?"
I jump out of bed. "Of course."
Time skip
We eat quietly. Mallory, TJ and Halfborn watching carefully. Magnus is watching me. Perfect timing. I walk to the other side of the table, where he is. I kiss him. Right on the lips. I hear Mallory say "Halfy , money." Did they bet?
