"Im headed to school Mom!" I yelled from across the house. Bleh. Its too sunny today. I much prefer when it's raining.
The bus pulls up to my house and I hop in. Everyone is having a conversation with thier friends. I sit in an empty at the back of the bus.
Soon, a boy with bleached looking blonde hair and bright blue eyes gets on. Everyone seems to move their bags into spots next to them, almost like they were avoiding him. Thats strange, I'd assume fifth grade girls would be all over him. He ends up sitting next to me, since every other spot seemed to be taken.
"Uh.. H-hi" He stuttered out nervously.
"Hi, the names Shalyn. Yours?" I said with lots of confidence.
"Uh, its Travis. Do you happen to like online games?"Present
"Mom! I'm headed to Travis' house!" I yell from across the house.
I walk outside. Perfect. Its raining today. I don't have an umbrella because I love the rain pouring down on me. I walk to the bus stop and sit on the bench next to an old lady. She looks at me and smiles.
"You want a little secret? Strange things always seem to happen here In the most least expected way, a relationship will bloom."I look at her confused.
"Uh, okay?" The bus pulls up. I step on and stand holding onto one of the bars. A guy with dark blue hair and hazel eyes keeps looking at me. Wierd.
The bus stops at the market. I get off the bus and walk to Travis' house. Before I Can even knock on the door, Mrs. Smith opens the door.
"Oh my God Shalyn! Please dear come in! Dry off! Get warm!" She hands me a towel.
"Thank you Mrs. Smith, but I really am fine." I say trying to calm her down.
"Oh Honey, Travis is downstairs. Tell me if you need, absolutely ANYTHING."
Mrs. Smith is a very loving person. She'll do whatever it takes to be nice.
I proceed to walk downstairs. Travis is.. obviously passed out on the sofa. I snicker and throw some pillows at him. He bolts up in complete shock.
"Shay!" He yells with his bangs flowingly covering his eyes. "Couldn't you have woken me up peacefully??"
"Of course not." I reply
He stands and fixes his hair out of his eyes. He's wearing that casual dark grey hoodie and sweatpants. A signature Travis kinda outfit.
"What's the outfit today, Murray?" He smirks
"Oh, you know, just ripped jeans, sweatshirt and...BOOM!" I lift my leg up to him as if I was to kick him. "New Vans."
"Smokin" He said. "That reminds me, I need to talk to you about something" he looked at me seriously.
When Travis has this look, it's never good. "What is it? Is Grandma Smith okay?!" I ask frustrated.
"Yes, Granny Smith is fine. It's about this"
He pulls a folded piece of paper out of his hoodie pocket.
He hands it to me and I open it hesitantly.Your green eyes sparkle like diamonds
Your hair flows in perfect locks like a waterfall.
I can't help but trip over myself every time I see you.
Even with braces your smile is beautiful and sincere
My lovely princessI fold the note back up in complete shock. "What is this? You in love with me or something?" I ask.
"No!" He replies blushing. "I found it in my locker, but that description...it fits you perfectly. It's kind of creepy, no?"
I have no words. The only that can come out of my mouth is.. "stalker?"
