Juana's Story

So it begins

   It was just an ordinary day in the life of the Smiths. Juana and his wife, Linda, were sitting on their beige sofa watching the CNN news. Today's headline just so happens to be "Lizard People in Our Government?". Juana looks over at Linda with a pained expression on his face and says "Linda, I cannot believe that some people actually think this is true." Linda, not really paying attention replys with "I know, it's absolutely terrible, Honey." They continue to watch the need for a little while longer before Juana gets fed up with the news and turns off the television.
   Once the married couple got ready for the day, they headed out to their jobs. Juana spends his day working at Not a Hit Productions(NHP) trying to come up with ideas for a new show. He's been struggling to come up with a new idea for quite some time now, and he's beginning to lose hope of coming up with a new and unique idea. Meanwhile Linda is working at Mainstream Networking, redirecting calls from place to place.
   After a day's work Juana comes home to his wife cooking dinner. As he walks through the door, he begins to pull of his human like mask, revealing his true form. He places it on a rack, along with his human suit; then heads to greet Linda in the kitchen. As he enters the kitchen, she pulls out the meatloaf from the oven and sets it in the counter. She places the oven mittens next to the meatloaf and walks over the her husband before lightly kissing him on the cheek.
     As they were eating dinner Linda asks "So how was your day at work?" Once again Juana looks at her with a pained expression and says "Honey, I think I'm going to be able to come up with an idea for a show." She makes an attempt to cheer him up by giving him positive feedback and trying to encourage him to continue coming up with ideas.
