The Wallwriter

Chapter 1

Destiny searched around for her sister, Hope.

"Des, I'm right here." Hope told her softly. Hope was never one to be rude. She was gentle, but she never got a chance to tell other humans. Ha! Humans. Des was sick of that word. The only people in the world? She missed the way it used to be, playing in the back yard and helping Mum cook.

Des held back a sob. She wasn't going to cry, that was the past. The world is invaded with a creature. It's all their fault. She didn't even know what the creatures even were. But she did know that it was her job to kill that creature and revive the whole population with someone. It can't be her sister! She snorted at the thought.

Hope gave her a look as they roamed the bloody roads. Bushes were still. Wind was blowing into Des's thick, blonde hair. She shivered slightly, but was thankful that they had a bunch of clothes and other things they needed.

"Hope?" Des questioned.

"Yes?"

"Look." Des said, panicked. She pointed at something she didn't know what but she knew for sure it was moving.

Hope cuddled into Des's side.

"Wha-what ar- are you?" Hope stuttered at the moving figure.

"Something you will be with, one of you will die." The figure whispered creepily. It stalked itself into the darkness.

"NO! NO PLEASE!" Des screamed.

But the figure just left, leaving only a puddle of something.

Des scooted closer to the puddle and noticed what it was.

Blood.

Red, pure, blood.

The one killers would die to make.

The one that the devil will want to drink.

The one God wants to hide from others.

Just, Red, pure, blood from only a certain person.

Destiny.

Sorry it was really short. I really needed to make the story readable for authors. I promise the next chapter will be long enough for you to be eager for Chapter 3. I hope you enjoyed this book so far! P.S Don't pee your pants when the scary part comes...
