It was pretty silent between Alex and Isabelle until Alex diecied to start a conversation going, " so who was the guy comforting you today?" Isabelle looked up at Alex with a desperate look in her eye "I'm not 100% sure but I will find out!" "You mean to tell me you don't know who could've been the most POPULAR PERSON EVER was comforting you?" Alex had shock in her voice "Nope. Now I gotta go bye girl I'll call you tonight." Alex couldn't figure out why Isabelle was trying to ignore this but Alex would get to the bottom of this.

Back in Isabelles' car her mom was on the phone "okay okay okay I know yup okay-" her mom stopped talking when she got into the car looked at Isabelle and continued talking "- I gotta go my daughter just got in the car bye wish him best luck" she hung up the phone. "mom who was that?" Isabelle asked "oh just a uh friend of mine.." Isabelle wasn't quite convinced. "mom tell me the truth." her voice sounded firm "you really want to know?" her mom questioned her "yeah" "okay well it was the hospital your fath-" Isabelles' eyes filled with tears she jumped out of the car and just ran down the hill. "Argh. I guess I'm going on a chase for my daughter, actually no I'll let her call me when she's ready" Isabelles' mom moaned.

Isabelle has been running for about an hour and a half and her legs were ready to give out. Just before she hit the ground she was caught by a firm grip "Miss me?" That voice it sounded so familiar but from where? she didn't get a good look at this boy before she had passed out. She could hear voices all around but couldn't see nor recognize them. Alex saw this commotion and pushed her way once again threw a crowd. "Isabelle, girl? you okay?" there was no response.

Alex and this boy managed to carry Isabelle to Alex's house. "Uh thanks-" she looked at him a funny way hoping he would get the clue it was a hint for him to say his name. "Jacksons the name" "okay thanks uh Jackson." he gave her a nod and a wave then left.

Isabelle finally started opening her eyes "wh-wh-wh-where am I?" She was confused, "Oh my god! Hey girl it's amazing your awake!" Isabelle propped herself up on her elbows "that doesn't answer my question where am I?" she demanded for a answer, "Oh right right, your at my house you know your best friend Alexs' house" Isabelle looked confused at first than opened her mouth but closed it. Opened it again and said "um okay what happened to me?" Alex wasn't quite sure what happened either but she tried to think of a way to tell her "uh well uh you where running I don't know how long than this guy Jackson caught you and uh said uh 'miss me' he smiled than you passed out and now your here" Alex had that 'good enough' smile on her face and Isabelle looked at her like she was crazy "what... Why was I running?" Alex smile faded "uh I don't know" Isabelle was confused and really wanted to know what was going on.

About two hours later Isabelles' mom had come to pick her up.

"MOOOOOMMMM" Isabella ran up and gave her mom a huge hug, "Mom I need you to tell me everything that has happened today I forget everything! Please and tell me who this girl is she says she is my best friend but I dont know if that's true or not so you need to tell me that to okay? Okay." Isabelles mom looked at her daughter than at alex, Alex shrugged her shoulders. "Okay honey I'll tell you everything at dinner tonight." "okay mom let's go!"

"Okay mom what happened tell me everything" Isabelle started as dinner was being served "well honey. Your father is in the hospital with a minor gun wound in his leg and he-" "Mom I know that! I remember everything that happened up to running out of the car" "oh okay, well than. You ran out of the car because I was mentioning your father, than you ran for about an hour and half, than you just collapsed a guy named Jackson caught you luckily! Alex ran down the street when she saw the circle of people , then they carried you to alexs' house and you where out for about 2 hours than you finally woke up" "okay but who's Alex and who's Jackson?" "Alex is your best friend darling and Jackson I'm not sure sorry dear" "it's fine". The rest of dinner was a awkward silence without their father.

"Mom can I go to bills tomorrow?" Ethan asked "uh-" " Mom can I go to Jasons tomorrow?" Mike asked "um-" "Mom can Alex come here tomorrow for 2 weeks?" "ethan for how long? Mike for how long and belly of course" "2 weeks" they both said "oh okay sure that's fine" "thanks! love you mom" they all exclaimed than went they're separate ways, "everyone loves mommy when she says yes don't they Johnny" She mumbled to her youngest son.

"Hello?" "Hello is this Mrs. Pike?" "Uh yes this is who may the caller on the other end be?" "It's the Florida Hospital" "Oh oh yes! hello how's tom?" "Your husband is um okay" "okay? what do you mean by okay? you called me one a'clock in the morning to tell me my husband is OKAY?! What if I called you at one a'clo-" "MRS. PIKE! Calm your self at once! We have some bad news to tell you." Isabelle bursted into the room to ask her mom something when she saw her mom starting to tear up "mom are you okay? who's on the phone?" "the hospital honey. come sit with mommy" so Isabelle crawled into bed, "okay yes what's the news?" Isabelle looked up in shock to hear the word 'news' "Well m'am your husband just recently had a heart attack." "A HEART ATTACK ARE YOU KIDDING ME? OH MY GOD IS HE OKAY?" Isabelle was now starting to tear up. Mike and Ethan bursted into to the room as soon as they heard that "Heart attack?"they exclaimed Isabelle nodded they came to sit on the bed "yes and no m'am with his wounds we are not sure how things are going to turn out. But we are trying everything we can to now help with this heart attack. We need you to understand there is about a 60% chance he will not make it." "okay thank you good bye." she hung the phone up and opened her arms for all her kids they all crawled over into her hug and cried
