to me promises are not to be broken. if you say you will be there forever make sure you mean it don't just say it because it sounds right at that time. you make promises forever they are not there to say they are there to keep. when you make them please make sure that you mean them before you make them,if you care about the person on the other end of that promise then you will think about it before you say it.some promises are bigger then others some are not that big but they will probably still have an impact on your life.i take promise seriously they are not a joke
