YEAR 1 - DAY 1

The first day of her first year at Hogwarts had arrived. She was so exited that when the alarmclock started to ring she had been awake for hours. She slammed the button on top of the clock and jumped out of bed.

She walked to the full-body mirror that was hanging on her wall and looked at her reflection. She looked at her messy ombre purple hair and at her bushy eyebrows. She looked at her pink pyjama's and her bunny slippers. She decided to put on some lipstick and a bit of mascara. She brushed through her wild curls and jumed into a pair of skinny-jeans and a tank top. Then she went downstairs to eat her breakfast.

Halfway through eating her sandwich her mom stumbled down the stairs and took place next to her. "Mika" She said, "At what time does the train leave?". Without thinking Mika answered: "10 o'clock". She looked at the clock and told her mom to get dressed, they would have to leave in 2 hours!

Mika and her mom walked up to platform 9. Mika's mom looked at the ticket confused: "Honey, do you know where platform 9 3/4 is?"

"Eh I guess between platform 9 and 10?" Mika said sarcastic.

"But there is nothing between them!" Said her mother less sarcastic.

"Maybe we should ask someone?"

"Okay, I'll ask the man over there."

"Yeah whatever as long as we're on time!"

And so Mika's mom went up to a round man with a very red head. His fat cheeks made him look very kind. "Excuse me sir, do you know where I can find platform 9 3/4?". The conductor  didn't respond as Mikas mom thought he would: "You are about the 600th person to ask me today! Do you think you're funny? Is this some kind of "prank" Or something? Because if it is it's not funny! Now go! Look for your imaginairy platform yourself!" The middle-aged woman looked startled and walked back to her daughter. "I guess we're on our own" she told her.

Right at that moment Mika saw a family walking behind her mom that looked rather odd. They were wearing capes and high pointy hats. Right then she heard the youngest child of the three say "Why can't I go to Hogwarts mom?".

Hogwarts.

Hogwarts.

Hogwarts.

The word echoed in her head and without explination she drove past her mom and yelled: "Follow them!". So Mika and her mom ended up chasing a wizard family to the space between platform 9 and 10.

The mother of the family looked around and when she saw the space was clear she told her oldest child: "Go ahead Oliver, run!" And the boy ran. He ran up to the wall of platform 9. He was just two meters away now and he was about to run straight into the wall! But he didn't.

Instead of the clinging of metal and the thuds of his cases Mika heard nothing. She didn't see the boy anymore either. She decided to go up to the woman and ask her what happened to her son, and how to get to platform 9 3/4. The answer was simple: "Just run thought the wall sweety"

And so Mika ran through the wall holding her mom's hand. When she dared to open her eyes again she saw the train that would take her to the magical school she had dreamed of for so long.

She said goodbye to her mom and hugged her tight. "Will you write?", She asked, "Of course, as soon as I understand how to work and owl!"

That were the last words her mom spoke before her daughter stepped onto the train and took place in a coupé next to a girl with a pale face and dirty blonde hair.

Mika had no idea that her soulmate stepped into the train at the same moment the girl next to her said "Hello!", with a voice like stardust and eyes glinstering like the reflection of the moon on a lake.

I also might spell things wrong sometimes as English is not my native language. If I make any mistakes please correct me! This fanfic plays in the golden trio area! I hope you all like it!
