Chapter 15

My POV

            "Seth don't" I say as he tries to grab one of bags and he just looks at me "I never said I forgave you. Now did I?" I ask with my eyebrows raised. He looks at me not knowing what to say and I smile

            "Kidding"

            "Damn scare the kid why don't you" Paul snorts and I roll my eyes and laugh.

            Seth grabs the bag and slides his hand in mine and we intertwine fingers. I am already starting to feel even better than before and I can tell so is Seth.

            We rent cars and drive to La Push because we had to land in Port Angeles. We get to La Push and instantly drive over to Emily and Sam's house even when I said I didn't want to go over there. I am the last one to get out because I am so stubborn of course.

            I walk in and it is completely dark

            "Why'd you guys bring us if they aren't home?" I scowl completely annoyed and irritated.

            "SURPRISE" Everyone shouts while coming out of hiding and turning on the lights

            "Who's birthday is it?" I ask. Not realizing the party is for me

            "It's your welcome back party, silly" Says Emily while bringing my cake out.             "What's this?" I ask right before I stick my finger in my mouth from sticking it in the frosting

            "I told them how you love to read all these fantasy novels and how they are all like heroes in the end so Ems went online and found this picture and frosted it on." Travis explains "And it has to do with you so it's perfect

            "Okay, I get that I read all these series, but what does it have to do with me? How does it fit me?" I ask still confused as ever

            "You're your own hero" Seth cheers happily and kisses me on the cheek. I smile

            "Well thanks" I say putting on a smile making everyone even Travie believe it. I cut us slices and we all sit down and eat and get other food because it's a whole barbeque here.

            "I'm full. I'm going to go walk it off on the beach" I say putting my plate on the counter

            "I'll come" Seth says with his gorgeous smile and showing off his pearly whites

            "No, I'm fine." I answer and walk out before anyone else can say anything. I am now at the beach and am skipping rocks.

            "I'm no hero." I mutter to myself.

            That's when I hear his voice. It was melodic. Like a song to my ears. "Yes you are" I turn my head around and see my father. I cover my mouth with my hand and rush to him and hug him.
