Your P.O.V
I walk out of the elevator.
"Good morning!" One of my coworkers greets me.
"Good morning, did we receive any calls this morning?" I ask.
"None of importance sadly, were you expecting a call?" She looks up at me.
"Maybe." I shrug.
"Y/N, the boss wants to see you in their office." A coworker says as he continues walking by.
"I'll talk to you later Jenn." She smiles at me before I walk away.
Once I get to his office I lightly knock.
"Come in."
I slowly open the door before allowing myself inside.
"So how's your day been Y/N?" He asks without showing emotion.
Damn, he's always too difficult to read, am I in trouble ?
"Uh am I in trouble?" I avoid his gaze.
"In trouble?" He pauses and then smiles, "No of course not! I'd actually like to thank you."
"Thank me? For what exactly?" I cautiously reply.
He would always do something like this; act like he's mad to scare you but isn't really or he acts all outgoing and then is actually upset. He once called an employee to his office and stroked their ego and then fired them with no hesitation. I will admit he is quite intimidating but he's a great man.
"For this." He says as he turns his laptop to face me and I look at the schedule.
"What am I supposed to be looking at exactly?" I say as I scan through.
"Look at what's scheduled today for 5pm." He replies.
I look down toward the bottom and see,
5pm dinah jane milika ilaisaane hansen 5H..
Was it really necessary to put her full name.
"This is great!" I pause. "So now what?"
"You have to be by this place by 5." He says as he write down an address.
"What's this?" I look at his handwriting trying to decrypt the letters.
"That's where Dinah lives and you're the one interviewing her."
"Me? But I already have something at 5 and did she really just entrust her address to you?" I look at him confused.
"Well, first of all you don't have anything at 5 anymore and that's a hotel room that she's staying in for a week and I was shocked too now you can get back to work now." He looks down at his laptop and starts vigorously typing and I waddle out of his office without saying anything else.
Lia walks up to me while I walk toward my desk.
"I'm so happy you didn't come out of there crying indicating he fired you because I need help." I look over at Lia who looks back at me in anguish.
"Okay okay what's up?" I turn to face her.
"So you know my recent ex that works here right? Well he recently got a new girlfriend who also works here and my desk is right near hers and they keep making out and you need to get them to stop. This is a work place!" She whines.
"Seriously? Is this for the office or for you?"
"Both okay!" She pouts.
I sigh and make my way over to Ciltali's desk and push her away from Bob.
"Hey what's your fucking prob-" She looks over at me. "Oh my god I'm so sorry Y/N I didn't know it was you um-"
"Well if your faces weren't fighting with each other you would know when someone approaches your desk but hey you do you just don't come from anyone if the boss accidentally finds out." I shrug and walk away.
"You wouldn't.." She looks at me worriedly.
"I wouldn't but the new cameras will." I look over at Lia and she smiles at me and I smile back and then continue walking back to my desk.
"Finally." I sigh as I sit down. Then at the exact moment my phone buzzes.
"I hate my life." I whine to myself.
I pick up my phone without looking at it.
"Hello, Y/N speaking?" I casually state as I twirl a pen in my other hand.
"Is your refrigerator running." Someone asks with an oddly strange voice.
"Bye Ivy." I say before hanging up.
That girl really needs to stop calling me when she's bored she's got all those electronics at home with her. Sometimes I regret leaving home but I needed to get closer to my job and now I barely see them with all the traveling I do even if they are just an hour away. I also love writing but I never wanted to be a gossip reporter but you know we all start somewhere.
I scroll through my social media trying to find something to write about.
"I got nothing." I lean back into my chair and look up at the ceiling.
"Y/N there's a call for you I'm passing it to you!" Lia yells.
I pick up the office phone from my desk.
"Hello, Y/N speaking?"
A/N: okay so I got into kpop and now I want to write a story so any recommendations?
