An Apology

Everyone ran towards the direction of the smoke, careful not to let the mortals see their powers. They finally reached the tree line of the huge park and ran into the small forest towards the smoke.

"It's either Gracie or Namjoon's group. If they couldn't handle it themselves then it must be pretty bad," Taehyung said as they ran faster, dodging trees the best they can.

"Guys!" They heard Marina yell, who was also running. She was with her group consisting of Aria, Namjoon, and Jungkook. Which only meant one thing: Gracie's group was the one in trouble.

They finally emerged from the trees and they stopped at a clearing. There they saw Gracie sitting on top of a screaming girl with both her swords at the girl's neck, her legs on either side her. Yoongi and Jimin were trying to get Gracie off her while Hoseok had another black pearl in his hand, ready to throw it.

"Lei è pazza! (She is crazy!)" The girl screamed, her blonde hair all over her face.

"Shut up! Show me your true form before I kill you!" Gracie screamed back and pressed her swords more onto the girl's neck, starting to draw blood.

"Gracie!" Anjelyn and Aria yelled, trying to get her to stop.

"What is happening?!" Marina asked.

With the help of Jungkook, they finally got Gracie off the screaming girl. Faith helped the girl up, asking her if she was okay.

"Chiamo la polizia!" The girl cried.

"How are you going to do that, without that box of evil of yours?!" Gracie charged again, stepping on a rectangular object that was on the grass, causing the glass to shatter.

"Gracie that's her phone!" Yoongi said, trying to calm her down, "it's harmless!"

"What's a phone?" Aria asked, looking at the thing on the ground.

"It's something the mortals invented to talk to each other even when they're far away without having to be in front of each other," Yoongi explained, struggling to keep Gracie at bay. He looked at Jimin, Jungkook, and Hoseok, "a little help here?!"

"So what is going on?" Anjelyn asked, still assessing the situation.

With a frustrated sigh, Yoongi began to explain, "Gracie saw the girl looking at her and yelling into the phone. She took it as a threat and started chasing her all the way here. We couldn't control Gracie that's why Hoseok threw the pearl, and here we are."

Faith picked up the phone that was on the ground, examining it, "this is a communication device?"

The phone started to beep, causing Faith to drop it and everyone else to jump and Gracie to get riled up again.

"Gracie! Gracie! It's okay! Yoongi said it was fine!" Jimin said, calming her down.

Namjoon walked up to the girl, "I'm so sorry."

"I am calling the police!" The girl yelled again, this time in her broken English.

Marina rolled her eyes, "she's overreacting."

"No, Gracie overreacted," Yoongi said.

"Hey! Leave Gracie alone! She didn't know!" Marina said, defending Gracie.

"Well now that we've established she's not a threat, what do we do with her?" Hoseok asked.

"Kill her." Gracie growled, wielding her swords again and preparing to charge, Hoseok put his arm out and stopped her.
