Jacksons POV

A limo. We're in a friken limo. Holy shit. This car is unnecessarily large for just two people. We all took separate cars to the party. Layla and I are in a white limo, while her brother and her parents took black limos. Right now Layla was quizzing me on proper etiquette and then some more Korean. I've been studying a lot and I know I've almost mastered the language. I'd pat myself on the back if it wasn't such a weird thing to do.

"Okay I think you've gotten basically everything you need to know. This party is going to be very very boring, but it's important so please try to look like you're enjoying it. I don't know if anyone from school will be there, but tonight," She says, looking at me proudly and lovingly "They're lower than us. They know better than to do anything."

Layla smiled, taking my hand in hers. Her ring shined under the lights, and she looked absolutely breathtaking. Her make up was soft and natural looking, her dress held her curves in all the right places, her hair flowed beautifully down her back, and her smile made her look perfect.

The driver in the front knocked on the window.

"We're almost there miss. Five more minutes." He says in Korean. And I understood him perfectly. I took the ear pieces and bracelet and put them in my pocket. Layla looked at me bewildered.

"I don't think I'll need these for tonight." I said to her in Korean. A smile grew on her beautiful face.

"Oh that's amazing Jackson!" She says.

We pull into the large driveway of Layla's mansion, passing the guards. There were already a dozen cars leaving. I could see a lot of people through the big doors of the house, and in front of it, probably a hundred reporters. I knew Layla's family was already up the steps and waiting for us. We are the last to arrive. We pull up to the steps where a giant red carpet is rolled down the stairs and went all the way inside.

The driver stopped and  hurried to the door, opening it for us. I step up and am blinded by the camera flashes. I put a smile on and hold my hand out for Layla. She grabs in and steps out elegantly, a smile gracing her face. I hear people shout out her Korean and English name. We link arms and walk down the carpet. Layla smiles and waves with her other hand.

We make it up the steps to where Layla's family and the Songs are. We greet them before we walk in together. First it was Jae Rim and her date, then Yongmin and his date, David and Jihee, Mr. and Mrs. Song, then Mr. Tulay and Selena, then finally Layla and I.

As soon as we walk through the door, there is a shout and I see Aria Paris, running towards Layla. Layla lets out a cry of joy and runs towards Aria and into her arms. Aria rubs Layla's back soothingly while she clung to Aria. They pulled away and were smiling brightly. Aria turned towards me and gave me a polite smile. She then leaned down and whispered in Layla's ear.

The smile slowly melted off of her face. She looked so sad and heartbroken. I felt my heart clench. Aria smiled at her and walked back over to her family. That's when I see him. He was staring at Layla who had her eyes downcast and her hands clenched into fists. She turns and walks back over to me and pulls me towards a balcony door. She closes the door and walks over to the edge, slamming her hands against the thick marble rails.
