the girl you never saw
who's eyes were brown
and soul was grey
but the words " i love you"
id never hear you say

i put on my earphones
and heard a song that reminded me of you
but you'd never notice me,
what could i do?

i was your guide,light,and happiness
but yet you chose her
i dreamt of leaning to you
and yet i would whisper
the words you longed to hear

that's when you realized
and saw me
i was here the whole time
hiding my colors from you; a crime

but when I opened up,
i was bright yellow.
a true angel
soft,loving and mellow

i wanted your arms grasped around me
but you kept running to her
is it my fault I am not she

im sorry if im not good enough
no matter how much I've done
all the feelings and times;
the sad,happiness and being outrun
