It was almost time for bed Silverkit asked her mom if she cud go see the elders before bedtime. She was almost there when she heard someone calling her name. she turned around and saw one of her friends Bramblekit. "Hi Bramblekit" "Where are you going it is almost time for bed," He said in a curious voice. "I'm going elder's den for a story before bed, you can come to if you want." "Thanks" The two kits walk together till they got inside. Oneeye was all settled ready for the two kits. "Hello, it seems you brought a friend." "I hope you don't mind" "No not at all come in this story is a long one." The two kits settled down on the sandy floor ready for a story. "All right, now where do I start. I know it was a warm day it all started when the patrol saw shadow clan on their territory. The patrol said it looked like that shadow clan was sniffing around for scent markers to find our camp. Back then Shadow clan never came so deep into the forest to find our camp, in fact, every time they attack us we were close to the border on patrol." "Oneeye?" "Yes, silverkit?" "I thought Shadow clan attacked are camp before all this what happened?" "Well we were at peace for a long time, and after   generations, they must have forgotten the way to our camp." "That's great in all, but can we get back to the story please!" Interrupted Bramblekit "Er... Yes" responded Oneeye "Ok where were we.... Oh now I remember, So when our warriors saw them they knew they were up to no good. So they came back to the camp right away and told Sunstar what was happening. She made the announcement right away to prepare for an attack. Silverkit, she sent Whitetail to look after you in your mother's den to be sure no one found you. The only cat for the longest time new you existed was Darkstar. He was in a meeting with your mother when you were born. Ok back to the story, when shadow clan came Darkstar made your mother hide so she would not die in the fight. Your mother was on her last life. After the fight Darkstar sent out a patrol to look for her when they got back they were carrying a body high so it would not touch the ground." there was a long pause before she continued. "Silverkit it was your mother. Darkstar blamed himself for her death, it took days for him and everyone else to recover after that. Silverkit you should feel proud your mom was a kind leader trying to get out of fighting never into it." "Silverkit your mom was a leader!" "Ya, she was." "Why didn't you tell me this" "Oh I don't now! Mabey it is cause I JUST FOUND OUT!" "Oh..." "Alright, I think it is time for bed you two should get going." "Ok" Silverkit answered her "Bye, thank you for the story."
