Chapter 5- Jet Lagged

*Finns point of view*

The boys went back to Australia for the week. So I have had nothing to do.

"Finley come down here."  My Father calls out.

"That's not my name!" I answer.

"Finn."

"Yes, what would you like?" I ask walking into the kitchen.

"I am starting to get worried about you. All you do is hang out with those boys. And when they are not here all you do is sit in your room. You need friends. Real friends." He tells me.

"So what do you want me to do about?" I ask

"I think you should go meet new people." He says.

"Cool."

"Finn, It wouldn't kill you to meet new people." 

I have been sitting at the beach for about an hour now. How do I meet new people? I see groups of friends but, I can't just go up to them. 

"HEADS UP!" Someone yells right before a beach ball hits m in the face knocking off my sunglasses. "Hey are you okay?"  And before I have a chance to yell I see him. His ocean blue eyes and sun belched hair. My eyes scan up and down his body. 

"Yeah, I think I'll be okay." I answer. 

"I'm Riley." He says with a half smile. 

"Finn." 

"Well, Finn let my buy you a drink since I hit you in the head with my ball." 

"Oh, You don't have to do that."

"No, my treat" He says grabbing my hand. 

I spent the rest of the week with Riley and his friends they have been teaching me how to surf. He's really sweet. But, I can't seem to get Ashton out of my head. To bad I have no chance with him. He loves his girlfriend. So I should just move on. It will be easy to move on from someone who you pretty much just met right. Yeah, it's not. On paper Riley is the perfect guy for me. Cute, Funny, Smart. And Ashton is everything bad for me. I mean maybe if he didn't have a girlfriend things would be different. But, he does. So they are not.   

"They come back today."  My father tells me.

"I know." 

*Ashton's point of view* 

Ever since the band got bigger I have gotten pretty use to flying. And normally the plane rides go by pretty quick for me. But, not this one it just seems to drag on and on. Maybe  it is because I miss Finn. I know I just met her and all but, I miss her. 

"Lukkeeee, Stop snoring!" I say shaking him awake. 

"Wait what?" He says before quickly falling back asleep. A few moments later the snoring starts again.

"Ladies and gentlemen prepare for landing." The caption announces. As we get off the plane I sercher for Finn. I can't find her. She said she would be here to pick us up. Where is she? 

"Do you guys see Finn?" I ask the boys. They all shake there head no. Suddenly my phone starts buzzing. It is  a text from her. 

TO: Ashton 

Hey. Sorry I couldn't make it I lost track of time. My dad sent a car. If you want to come over later that would be cool. I made a friend I want you to meet :) 

FROM: Finn 

A friend? What does that mean. The boys are all to tired to see her so we just go to the LA house. I tried calling her but it went stright to voice mail.

I wake up to Luke and Calum Screaming. They are playing Fifa. They get rowdy when they play. 

"Can you guys not yell?" 

"Yeah, sorry mate." Calum says. 

As we get ready I can't wait to see Finn. I don't know how a person can miss some one they just met this much. 

"Hey, guys." Finn says with a chirpy smile walking in to the studio. "How was your trip?" 

"Good. What did you do?" 

"I learned how to surf!" She yells a little to loud causing people to look over at us. "And I met a guy, Ashton he is so perfect. His name is Riley." I feel my heart shatter in to a million pieces. 

I fake a smile." That's great I am am so happy for you. I can't wait to meet him. " The smile on her face slowly seems to fade. 

"What's wrong?" She asks. 

"Nothing I am just really jet legged."
