Chapter 1 Jade

Jades POV

*beep beep beep*

Ugh here we go again. Another day of child abuse, or school, ah whatever same thing.

Well my name is Jade. I live in a decent house with my mom and older brother Ryan. I'm 17 years old and I'm a junior in high school. My best-friends name is Olivia, my favorite color is purple, I've got long strait dirty blond hair and I'm 5'5 with blue eyes.

So there is nothing really special about me. Pretty basic chick in America.

I smacked the alarm clock on my nightstand and rubbed my eyes. Throwing off the purple fluffy blankets and sliding off the edge of the bed. I changed out of my pj's which was just a big t-shirt that used to belong to my dad before he died of lung cancer. Rather not talk about it. Any ways I threw on a tank top I got from pink and some leggings, along with my purple and grey VANS.

AND OH MY GOD MY HAIR. It looks like I was just in a freaking tornado! So after untangling that beast I applied some light eyeshadow and mascara.

"Sweetie breakfast is ready"

"Coming mom!"

Quickly running down the stairs to see a bag of McDonalds sitting on the table.

"Wow mom I can tell you slaved really hard to make such a nutritious meal" I said sarcastically

"Sorry kiddo I have to get to a job interview. Your brother will be driving you to school this morning." She replied kissing my forehead

Ever since my dad died last year we've been living off all three of our part time jobs. I am a camp councilor at a summer camp by the lake, my brother works at food bag and my mom has been bouncing around a lot. She's had a lot of different jobs but been quitting to get a "higher paying" one. Which usually ends up only paying her like 10 cents more an hour but hey, Money is money. I honestly have no idea where she's trying to get hired now.

Just as I was done pouring syrup on my pancakes, Ryan was already half way done. Oh and a thing about him, when he's hungry, he's really hungry.

"So uh, how's school?" He asked as syrup dripped down his chin.

"Pretty good." I replied awkwardly. Don't really know why I just don't like to talk about school.

"Got a boyfriend?"

"No"

"Good no bitch I have to deal with"

Don't get me wrong I love Ryan. He's like a father to me. A really over protective father... He literally beat the shit out of my last boyfriend who made me cry. And let's just say after that I no longer had a boyfriend after that.

Not like I care though, all the boys here are dicks anyways.

I've only had one boyfriend since we moved here a few years ago. Yet he came no where near what I used to have..... I try not to remember anything from my old house. I mean I have great friends here in Michigan.

"Hey you ready to go?"

"Uh gfhgvjb"

"What?"

"Jbvffnjgrd"

I had a mouthful of pancakes what did he expect?

"I'll give you 5 minuets." He chuckled

I sighed jamming the rest into my mouth. I'm surprised I hadn't choked.

----------------------

We hoped into Ryan's grey truck and I popped in my cute adventure time ear buds and put on my favorite song; wonderwall by oasis, An old one I know but I love it and it brings back so manny memories. Ones I really wish I didn't have to think about, but I never want to forget. God I really wish I could move on. But missing him... I MEAN EVERYONE back at my old house.
