Recently I've found myself in a rather odd situation. "The Aces" have taken me under their wings to be popular, not sure why I'd want that though. While I'm at it, I might as well introduce them.
Adrian Moore- He's the captain of the baseball team, his dad is loaded, he sells engagement rings.
Alex Sanchez- The captain of the basketball team. Need someone to help you get books from the top shelf? He sure as hell won't help you, even though he has the height for it.
And finally...
Aaron Rodriguez- Captain of the football team, the player. He's a major asshole.
These are the kids that your parents told you to stay away from. I just wanted to not be bothered by everyone else anymore, NOT BECOME PART OF THE FUCKBOY TRIO. This entire high school is a living hell, I wish we could go back to when we were nice to each other.
Anyways back to the school, we weren't always a bunch of assholes constantly picking on each other and fighting over stupid things. There were a few decent people here still like Brianna, she was pretty but was the most harassed person in this entire school. In other words, she was pretty damaged, especially after losing her mother. That's right I know about it, the whole school knows about it. "No one gives a crap about Brianna! She's the world's punching bag because no one cares about how she feels! That's why she killed herself! " I scream inside my head.
I was the only one that cared about her and how she felt. Brianna was my girlfriend and now she's dead.
"Hey! Earth to newbie!" Aaron yells slapping me on the shoulder. "We're going to be late for study hall and I need Shane Kelly to do my homework. LET'S GO!!!".
Shyly I walked behind them looking at the floor to avoid gaining any unwanted attention. Suddenly where was a crash and all I saw was a bunch of books fall onto the marble floor. "Ooops~" Adrian said with sarcasm.
"Maybe you should watch where you're walking Sawyer." Alex stated, shoving the girl to the ground.
From one end to the other end of the hall filled with laughter after the "incident" occurred. The girl they called "Sawyer" scrambled to pick up her books. I looked around carefully to make sure The Aces weren't looking, then I knelt down and helped her pick up the books. My back make a small pop noise when I stood up and carefully leaned over to her. "Th-Thank you." Sawyer mumbled while brushing her almost black hair out of her face. "My names Jessica, Jessica Sawyer."she put her hand out.
"What a beautiful name." I said while shaking her hand.
She smiled brightly and then asked "So, are you an Ace?"
Her subtle question made me laugh. "No, I'm a Marcus. Marcus Floyd."
I turned away from her and ran to my "friends". Aaron's face was scrunched in, clearly disgusted with my actions. He didn't face me but I could tell what he'd say "Newbie? Why Sawyer? She's not a girls that The Aces should be seen nor associated with.".
