i haven't experienced
the happiness
of getting a text from that certain someone
i havent experienced
the warmth you feel
under that certain someone's jacket

to hug someone and not want to leave them
all these feelings i haven't felt
all these emotions i'm not capable of feeling
they're gonna make me completely numb me one day
and i know i don't talk about it much

you really need a chest to lie your head on
or a hand to slide your fingers through
but my life is perfect i must say
in the eyes of another, it's perfect
but as perfect it is
