"Pidge, truth or dare?" Lance looked up at the female, smirking with Keith on his lap. "Truth" she said, grinning as if she knew what he was gonna ask.

He leant foward and licked his lips a bit "What's your sexuality?" Her face dropped a bit, becoming nervouse and tapping her fingers together "U-U-Um... I'm a lesbian." Everyone exept Allura looked suprised.

Thing was, Allura didn't know what a lesbian was. She looked at everyone and then at Pidge "What's a lesbian?" She death glared Lance, then looked back at her "It's um... like how Keith and Lance are attracted to eachothet, t-their both the same gender. But thats r-reffered to as being gay. I'm the oppisite, i like people of the same gender too but...I'm a girl. So i'm what you would call a lesbian. But to put it bluntly, lesbians and gays are homosexuals." Her eye twitched a bit, trying to understand before She started laughing "Oh! I get it! Haha!"

Pidge licked her lips, blushing when she saw her smile. "A-anyway..."

Later that night, Pidge was in her room typing away on her laptop silently, when there was a knock on the door.

She jumped up, walking over to the door and opening it. "Hey, princess, what are you doing up?" Allura laughed nervously. "I um...I just wanted to ask some more stuff about this whole....Lesbian thing..."

"O-oh yeah, sure!" Allura smiled softly and walked in with Pidge. She sat down on the end of the bed, picking up a spare pillow and hugging it close. "So...Is being lesbian...Y'know...Normal on earth?" Pidge looked a little suprised, then giggled. "Yes, but it's not always accepted" Allura nodded.

"I um...Yeah, I knew what a lesbian was sorry, but back...Before my planet was destroyed we called them darlings." Pidge tilted her head to the side "Darlings? Huh, weird thing to call it" Allura chuckled "Well so is lesbian. Anyway... I was one of them, problem was that my father made it illegal. He was that stuck on reproduction and keeping everything alive..."
Pidge nodded and looked down at her laptop. "What are you always doing on that thing? your always on it" She shuffled up next to pidge and looked at the screen.

On there was an unfinished drawing of Allura, detailed in every single part. "Wow, I didn't know you could draw!!" She said looking closer.

Pidge chuckled nervously "Would you like to watch a movie?" Allura looked up, then nodded "Sure" Pidge turned on netflix and brought up the list's. "Scary, Romantic, Kids?" Allura thought for a moment "A kids movie maybe?" Pidge nodded and went through them with her, deciding on the BFG.

Allura curled up against Pidge, hugging the spare pillow and resting her head on her shoulder.

A/n: sorry for the short start off guys, im tired and *yawn* anxious. the first chapter for my other book 'waving through a window' is out now, if you wanna read its a shiro x keith and basically lance is a douche bag who told keith he wasnt gay and to go kill himself during a breakup and blah blah blah but if you could read that too it would be great xoxo
