Kirigiri's P.O.V
Ugh. My alarm clock decided that it was time for me to wake up now. As you can see, I wake up with the annoying sound of my alarm clock beeping, and slowly...I start accepting the clock's request.
God, this week passed so fast, it's already Friday. Which means, Naegi is coming to pick me up after school for some coffee. We have been planning it since the beggining of the week. We had some small interactions during the week, which is okay to me, we don't need to hangout all the time to bond. I aprecciate that he understands that.
As I brush my teeth, I ponder of what I am supposed to wear for the da-coffee. Maybe some jeans and a crop-top? Yeah, no. Too informal, and Naegi wouldn't be the only one paying attention at me. Maybe something simple, like a dress? Ummm, what about deciding later? Yeah, that seems good to me.
After combing my hair and braiding a piece of it, I head down the stairs to find my dad laughing. He's watching a meme that was funny last year. He is also having his usual breakfast, coffee and omelette. "Good morning dad." I say, heading towards him, so I can give him a hug. "Good morning Kyoko. Did you sleep well?" He replies. "Yes." I say, with no details.
I start pouring some coffee into my mug, until I remember... I didn't tell him about getting coffee with Naegi. Gosh, he is surprisingly strict when it comes to boys. I think that's because he is the principal, and he knows the boys at my class. Well, I need to tell him anyways. He is going to get even more strict once he sees there is somebody's car parking on front of his house.
"Hey dad?" I say. "Yes ?" "Do you know Naegi?" "Yes, very good boy, has good grades. Once when you guys were in sixth grade I called him to the office, and he came in with water on his eyes, confessing that he stole a pencil from Fukawa. He thought I called him because of that, but it was actually because he forgot his jacket, and I was just handing it to him. Anyways, what about him?" "Oh...Well, anyways, I was thinking if I could have your permission for him to pick me up today. We planned in having coffee at Mocha's Club. Can I go?" I answer with the hope and expectation that he will let me. "Of course. What time is he coming to pick you up?" I am completely shocked by his unexpected answer. What happened to Jin Kirigiri, the overprotective dad I have? Or had. "You are okay with that?" "Yes. I would just not let you go if it was Togami or Hagakure." He answers looking tempted to drink his mug of coffee. "Hagakure has repeated 9th grade 3 times and seems to be related to drugs. I already tried contacting his parents, but they are just like their son. And Togami. Sorry for my language Kyoko, but he is too much of an asshole and a smart-ass. He is really disrespectful sometimes, and I don't feel like he would treat you well." He finishes his answer, and drinks his so wanted last sip of coffee. "Well, thank you dad. I'll head off to school already, you need to be there soon. Goodbye, love you." I say, getting my school bag, and kissing my dad's forehead gently.
When I'm getting next to the school, I see Naegi being dropped off by a red, small, car. I start to walk faster, so I can reach him. "Hey Naegi." I say, behind him while he is getting something in the car. "FRICK! OH OUCH! THAT HURTS!" Apparently I scared him, and he had his reflex. Jump slightly, but how I said...The car was small...He hit his head on the car roof. "Are you okay Naegi?" I say, reaching my hand to his shoulder. "O-oh hi Ki-Kirigiri! Y-Yeah I'm fine. It was just a little bump! Nothing to worry about!" He says, giving a cute smile, but I notice the "little bump" wasn't as little as he said. "I'm sorry Naegi. I didn't have the intention to hurt you. Let me check your head." I say, actually meaning the "sorry" I said. He reaches his head to me, and he is lowering a bit, not much, since I'm taller than him. I move my fingers through his hair, like if they were dancing. After a while, I find something. " Hey Naegi..." "Yeah?" "You have a small cut next to your ahoge. You need to go to the school nursery, desinfect it or something near that." I respond, taking my hands out of his hair, allowing him to lift his head. "No Kirigiri. I swear! It isn't a big deal, I'm okay!" He replies. "Naegi, I know you are a humble person, but this is not being humble. It's just not taking care of yourself. Soon this cut will start bleeding, and perhaps blood is not something really nice to have on your hair. You need to go to the nursery." I answer, looking directly to his eyes. "Makoto, your friend has a point! You should go to the nursery, it's not good for you to walk around with a infected cut on your head. And blood." The voice comes from inside the car. I lean myself a little to see a middle-length-hazel-haired woman, with green eyes, just like Naegi's. She is probably his mom. " Okay then...Let me just get my bag." He says, with a-well, not sad, but more of a dissapointed look on his face. " Nice to meet you tho. Hi, I'm Romaji, Makoto's mom. What's yours?" "Hi. My name is Kirigiri. Well, Kyoko Kirigiri. It is nice a pleasure to meet you too." I say, shaking Romaji's hand. There is some silence for a while. "Well, you two should get to the nurse before the cut starts bleeding and the bell rings. Have a good day you two! Goodbye!" Romaji said that with a smile similar like Naegi's, then she shutted the car's door slowly, and went front, and later on turning left... "Well we should go now shouldn't we? Naegi says, looking directly to my eyes, but he is smiling with them somehow, which gives me a good vibe. "Yeah. Let's get going."
We walk through the halls, and as we reach the nursery, we wait for his turn. While we are waiting, I see his phone was in some type of playlist he was hearing before. The headphones are around his neck. The playlist was paused, and I saw that he was hearing to Alec Benjamin... My favorite musician. "Do you like Alec?" I say. "Yeah...He is my favorite artist! Do you like him too?" He asks, excitedly. ""Paper Crowns" is my favorite one from him." I say, looking him directly in the eyes, maybe smiling a little. He looks happy. "Wow! That's pretty cool, I didn't think anybody would know him! I really like "Paper Crowns" too, but I'd rather have "The Water Fountain", it's really nice, I love the rythym of it!" He says, smiling. Well, he smiles most of the time. "Yeah, it is pretty nice. It's good we have the same interests in music and books." I say. His answer is a cute smile with a small shade of pink covering his cheeks(Aka blush). "Makoto Naegi, you can come in!" The nurse shouts. "Well, I guess it's better if I go now...I don't want to miss class. I'll take notes for you if you want. If you take a long time." I say. "Umm yeah! Thanks, I aprecciate it! See ya Kirigiri!" He says, and guess what? He's smiling, as usual. I like that I can use the word 'usual' in this situation.

Naegi's P.O.V
As Kirigiri went off to class, I come inside the nursery's room. It is full of posters saying to wash your hands, recycling, and being careful when having...Y-you know...The act of reproduction...I'm not saying anything else...
There is a little fridge next to the wooden door, which is full of grape juices and ice packs. She gives the juice to the people that won't stop complaining about their pain, it's the way she found to shut them up. One time she gave it to me... But that was because I wouldn't stop asking her questions. "Good morning Nakoto Maegi, what is your problem?" "Uh my name is Makoto Nae-" "I don't have all day just tell me what happened Maegi." Well that was a little rude, ah nevermind. "There is a cut in my head, and I came here before it started bleeding." I say, pointing where the cut is around with my indicator. "Mmk let me take a look at that." She starts searching through my hair for the cut, even though I pointed to her where it was around. She finally finds it. "Okay so Maegi, you got lucky it didn't start bleeding. So what I'll have to do is, I'll spray some desinfecctor, then you will need to put an ice pack for a while, and then I will put a band there. Okay?" "O-" "Good."
She gave me an ice pack enrolled on a white, small, towel. While I'm having the ice pack pushed to my head, I start to think that it's kind of funny that all nurses are at least a little moody, and always give an ice pack for anything. When I was younger I actually thought they had a contract for this. "You shall always interrupt the client, you shall hand out ice packs in any occasion, you shall be a little moody, you shall NOT have patience at any circustances..." You can say I was a weird kid. Still am. "Maegi I'll put the band now, give me the ice pack!" She shouted, across the small room. "Here you g-" I was about to hand it to her, but then, she quickly got it from my hand, pulling it strongly... "Ugh...Teenagers...don't even know how to give an ice pack...!" She murmures. I was going to say sorry, but then I thought that it would be better if I didn't say anything.
After the short(But blazingish)process of spraying the desinfecctor and putting the band, she hands me a little paper with my name and details of the cut written. We are supposed to show that to our parents, but I highly doubt anybody does. People usually throw it in the trash, or keep the paper in their lockers until the end of the semester or year. "Here ya go kid. Now go to your class." I turn around and walk through the little, wooden door. I walk through the halls, and there's still some students in the halls. Walking fastly to reach their classes, I notice most of them are 9th graders, tripping everywhere, even if there are no things on the floor that could make them trip. They are probably late to class, and are clumsier than me! I thought that was impossible! I chuckle a little as I pass by them, but not too loud for them to hear.
I get to class, and I see Kirigiri sitting in the same corner we did when I asked her to have coffee with me. By her side(AKA where I had sitted before), a lavender-colored "Jansport" bag is sitting next to her. I think that bag belongs to her. WAIT. Her bag is sitting next to her, everybody from our grade is here...Did she save that seat for me? Did she? She actually saved a seat for me? ME? ME? Nobody ever did that for me. That's sweet. I walk towards where her bag is sitting. She takes the bag out the seat, and replaces it below her chair. Before I sit, I stare at her for a while. She stares at me too. I feel my cheeks getting a little warm, and I think she noticed, since her eyes got bigger. I decide to smile and thank you her for saving a seat to me. "Thanks for saving a seat for me Kirigiri, that was really sweet!" I say. "No problem Naegi, now sit down, we can talk better if you do that." She replies, pointing her hand to the chair. On her demand, I sit down in the chair, and copy her by putting my bag below the chair as well. "Are you feeling better?" She says, whispering, so that our teacher won't hear us. "Yeah, I'm better." I whisper, smiling as always. "Are you still up for the coffee?" She questions, with a worried look on her face. "Yeah! Of course! You don't need to worry Kirigiri, I'm okay. A little cut won't stop me of meeting with you." I say, putting my hand on her shoulder, and with an innocent, small, smile, I take the worried look on her face. She doesn't take my hand off her shoulder, like other girls do when I'm being nice. They mistaken it as if I have second intentions with them. It's a freakin' hand in the shoulder not in your butt. "That's great Naegi. I'm truly sorry for what I did tho. I'm happy you are okay." She responds, and somehow, she is smiling with her lavender, deep, beautiful, eyes. I wonder if I can do that. Even if I can't, I decide to answer her, by giving a bigger smile. My hand is still on top of her shoulder. "You two, stop talking when you should be learning." The teacher looks at us, raising her glasses and pointing at us. "Sorry Ms.Kirimi." We say at the same time. I finally take my hand off her shoulder.
If there is one thing I noticed about Kirigiri, is that she doesn't hides her emotions, she just puts all of them in her eyes. Which is even harder.
