Monday
"See, outlaw clubs are a lot like the military. Know your enemy. Know his position, strengths and weaknesses. Trust, fight and live alongside your brother. Always know that Murphy will always be there to fuck your day right up" the old man stubbed out his cigarette before lighting another. "The only thing the outlaw life has different is we wear what we want and get better food occasionally" he laughed and slapped the young prospect on the back "shit brother, thats why we started this club. For grunts like us" he drank his whiskey and eyed Johnny over his glass. "How many tours?" Johnny asked. Chooka lowered the glass and gazed into the distance "three rounds in vietnam, age eighteen, then I barely made the margin and helped in the first Gulf War. Sniped through Vietnam as I was too big to be a tunnel rat" Chooka laughed "what about you, young fulla?" Johnny looked down. "Four years in the US Marine corps before transferring here and joining the SASR" Chooka stared at him. "Dual citizen then?" "yeah. Mum was from Texas. Dads a Sydney sider. But life took them from me too." Chooka nodded slowly then turned as two young men left the bar and walked outside. "thats our cue lad" Johnny swallowed his scotch and both men got up and followed the other men out and down the road. A short distance later as they came to a darker patch of the night, both Johnny and Chooka scanned for witnesses before pulling out silenced 9mm pistols and started stalking low behind the men they were following. The men only felt hands cover their mouths, a mans hot breath on their necks and a single bullet enter their skulls. Johnny and Chooka, with their work done pulled the corpses into a nearby dumpster and walked back to the bar silently. They hopped on their bikes and rode off into the dark.
