(This is not a continuation from the first chapter. Every lans fic is different okay)

Never in her years of living has she ever faced this level of stress. Assignments piling up, finals coming up, and all she wanted to do was lay in bed all day and not think about it at all. Just sleep it off. (Fuckin relatable though)

But she, obviously, knows better. She knows sleeping it off wouldn't change reality. So, she got up from her chair desk, stretched out her arms, yawned a little, and headed to the kitchen where she started to brew a cup of coffee to be ready. Her eyes flitted to a picture that was set in the middle of her kitchen's island. It was a picture of Leo, her boyfriend of two years with her, during one of their vacations together.

There was a tug at heart, and she longed for him. She missed him. She misses his surprise kisses, the smell of his cologne lingering around the house, she misses his presence. It's been a month now since she last saw Leo. There's another two weeks to go before she could see him again.

She knew what she signed up for when she started to date him. Since his debut, their time together were always short. Vans tries not to show how it affects her, but on days like these, it's difficult.

With a deep sigh, Vans picked up her mug now filled with coffee, thanks to the coffee machine, she dragged her feet back to her desk.

Missing him now won't do anything good, she reminded herself. So she went back to working, typing away on her laptop with books sprawled messily on the table for reference.

Two hours passed bye, and finally, another assignment is done. Two down, one more to go. How fun.

She was about to head into the kitchen again before her phone started to ring. After close to a minute, she finally found her phone, wedged in between two of her physics and maths textbook.

Not even glancing at the caller ID, or even hesitating whether to answer it or not, she answered.

"Hello?"

"Hi baby," An all too familiar voice replied.

Her throat clogged up and next thing you know, tears. Lots and lots of them.

"Baby, what's wrong?" He sounded worried, and she could picture his face, eyebrows scrunched up, concern written all over it.

She laughed, the laugh that was filled with happiness and sadness, "Nothing, really. It's just.. Ah.. great, I really shouldn't be crying."

"What is it? Are you okay? Is college okay? Come on, tell me. Why are you crying, princess?"

"No, seriously, it's nothing. It's just the stress of college taking a toll on me and I kinda maybe missed you a little and your warm hugs, that's it."

The line was quiet for a while, and she had to check if they got disconnected before she heard a distant voice screaming out, "VAN AND LEO SITTING ON A TREE K-I--"

"Oh my goodness, Julia, get out of my room and leave me alone, please. (Okay I just made that up sorry leo lmao) Sorry, that was my little cousin. Jeez.."

"You're no fun." She heard the little one whine. "Well, neither is Jammey but you're both best friends anyways. Now, get out before I throw my pillow at you." Leo said.

She heard the door slammed shut and she laughed to herself. Julia is one peculiar boy.

"Sorry about that. She tried to snatch the phone from me."

"It's alright, really. That was the most entertaining thing I've listened to all day."

"Well, glad it lifted your mood somehow. Anyways, baby, I miss you too, and more than you can imagine, okay? I'm really sorry we don't have time to us like we used to. But, trust me on this, no matter where I go, you're always on my mind, and in my heart. That's never going to change. Seriously, sometimes I'm amazed I didn't say your name instead of lyrics on stage. It's honestly a miracle."

She smiled to herself, knowing well he meant every word. "Me too, babe. Me too.. I'm counting down (the days to go iT JUST AINT LIVING. sorry if i triggered you wooPs) the days until you get back here. Two more weeks and I'll have my boyfriend back."

"Two more weeks and my girlfriend would be back in my arms."

"Two more weeks until I can finally cuddle with you."

"Two more weeks until I'm with you again"

"Two more weeks.."
