Percy

"You need to stop doing this, Percy." Vaisey reprimanded me.

I rolled my eyes,"Its my job."

"As a demigod or wizard?" He snapped.

I kept quiet, letting him wrap me up. On the way home from work, I encountered a surprising amount of monsters surrounding a little boy. I apparated with him to Camp Jupiter, but in the process of it all, I ended of spraining my wrist. Yeah, Vaisey did not appreciate me coming home injured. Not that being an auror was enough danger itself.

Luckily for me, my fiancé was a doctor. The regular kind, not belonging to magic or any of that. Not that he didn't treat the magical folk from time to time, but he was always there to patch me up. I heard a meow, and in the corner spotted Sally running her paws along the pantry door where the food was kept.

"Did you feed her?" I asked Vaisey, giving him a pointed look.

He ignored me, and tightened whatever he was doing to my wrist,"Not yet. I was distracted by your only wrist being injured."

I snorted, casting a spell to do what I wished,"Don't forget the family's coming for dinner tonight."

"You mean the family is coming in five minutes?" Vaisey responded slyly, raising an eyebrow.

My eyes widened,"What? I've got to go clean up. Is the house even ready for guests?"

Vaisey scoffed as I jumped away from him. He whipped out his wand and finished wrapping my wrist as I ran from him. I hopped in the shower, ignoring Vaisey who came in to brush his teeth for an exaggeratedly long time. Washing the conditioner out of my hair, I commanded a stream of water to splash Vaisey in the face.

He sputtered, making me laugh. I hurriedly got ready, forgetting the dull pain in my wrist. I struggled to find my way out of my shirt, and felt Vaisey's gentle fingers grasping the ends. I breathed a breath of freedom when Vaisey guided my way to the exit. I thanked him, giving him a swift kiss before running away from him.

By my command, the kitchen began cooking as as fast as it could. I heard Vaisey setting the dinning room up, so I abandoned my food job and cleaned the living room as swiftly as I could with magic and my one arm. I almost tripped over something as I did like ten things at once.

"Percy!" Vaisey shouted,"Let me do this, go focus on the food."

He pulled me to my feet. I nodded in agreement, remembering my previous activities. I heard him laugh as I scampered away. I barely had time to blush, stupid ADHD. I cursed in my head. I walked past the bathroom and stopped in my tracks. Just as I was about to cast a spell on the room, I was pushed out of the way by Vaisey.

"Kitchen." Vaisey deadpanned.

"On it." I declared.

Instead of going through to the kitchen, I went back towards the living room. I took one step in, and saw it just the way I like it. Good job, Vaisey, you do know me. I was suddenly jerked back by someone grabbing my one arm. I yelped and fell into Vaisey's body. He dragged me through the rooms until he deposited me in the kitchen.

"Its burning! Vaisey why didn't you tell me?" I scolded, rushing around the room.

I saw him roll his eyes in my peripheral vision, but there was a smile lining his lips. I dismissed his presence, and went around the room, fixing the food. Just as I got it on the plate, the doorbell rang. Vaisey went to welcome the guests as I organized the table neatly. A hand tapped my shoulder, and when I turned I was pulled into a hug by my uncle.

"How you doing, Percy?" He asked me.

I pulled away quickly,"Good, how about you?"

Sirius chuckled, taking his usual seat,"Just a bit hungry for your burnt food."

I scowled at him,"It's not always burned."

He laughed heartily,"The one time you didn't burn the food was when you got distracted enough to forget to turn on the stove."

I blushed, slapping him lightly. Arms wrapped around my waist, pulling me into Vaisey's chest. I hummed, smiling as he leaned down and kissed my cheek. The doorbell rang again, and we both went to answer the door. It swung open to reveal several people.

"Draco, Pansy, come in." I welcomed, pushing Vaisey back with me to let them through.

"The food doesn't smell as burnt as usual." Draco teased.

I rolled my eyes, stomping on Vaisey's foot when he laughed,"Just go inside."

"Yeah, you're holding up the line, Malfoy." Ron's voice called out.

I saw Hermione roll her eyes,"Don't be rude, Ronald. A simple please would suffice."

I chuckled,"Big words are bad, Hermione."

"Yeah." Harry supported from behind her,"You've got to stop speaking gibberish."

I heard Ginny laugh,"Maybe you would've learned more if you didn't skip your last year of school."

We all laughed, and ushered everyone in. The rest of the Weasley's couldn't make it, and Severus was coming later. Sirius was already chewing when I walked through the doorway, and in an instant, the fork dropped to the plate and he swallowed quickly. I glared at him, while he looked around innocently, standing up to greet everyone.

Once everyone sat down, then I gave Sirius the okay to dig in. About half way through, the doorbell rang, and I went to get it. My eyes widened in surprise when I saw who was next to Severus. I immediately dropped to a knee, and bowed my head.

"Lady Athena." I drawled, respectively.

"Stand, Perseus." She ordered calmly.

I stood, nodding at her and Severus,"To what do I owe the pleasure?"

Her lips twitched in a small smile,"I am just here with Severus. He impressed me severely during the last war concerning Hecate's kin, and I wished to get to know him better."

I nodded in acceptance, letting them in. Severus gave me a reassuring pat on my shoulder as he passed, and led Lady Athena to the dinning area. I conjured up another chair for her, and summoned multiple glasses. I filled them all with butter beer as a joke, but everyone smiled in remembrance. I raised the glass, and everyone followed my lead.

"To family." I offered.

"To family." They all chorused.
