- *Warning* I'm new at this, so it's going to suck. Big thanks to my editor, Zoey @ZoeyLovesYoutube -

-Gerard's POV-

I stare at my reflection in the mirror, which was hanging on my closet door. I had dyed my hair the week before, so instead of my natural brown hair, I now had dark, shoulder-length, black hair. Just in time for the new school year. I suddenly thought about my summer. I had spent most of my summer in bed, only talking to Kat, Ray, and my brother Mikey. A loud buzzing noise coming from my nightstand brought me back to reality. It was coming from my phone,

Kat: Hurry up, we're gonna be late!

Crap. I forgot Ray was picking us up today. I quickly got dressed for school. This meant gray dress pants, a white button-up shirt, a red and blue tie, a navy blue blazer, and black dress shoes. The same thing I've worn since the first grade. I ran downstairs, knocking on Mikey's door on the way down. I got the coffee pot started and Mikey finally came down while I was pouring it into mugs. Outside, a car honked. Mikey and I quickly drank our coffee and headed out the door. "Get in, bitches!" Ray yelled out. I got in the backseat with Kat, while Mikey called shotgun. "Hey, KitKat, how's it goin'?" I asked

" It's the first day of sophomore year," she said, her voice laced with bitterness,"how do you think it's fucking going."

One of the many things we have in common is our hatred for school.

"At least it won't be as bad as my freshman year," I replied.

Ray looked at up through the rear-view mirror. "Nothing could be worse than your freshman year." As we pulled up to the student parking lot, Mikey said: "We could have walked you know." He was right. All of us lived a couple of blocks away from our school, St. Peter's. "Yeah, but where's the fun in that?" Kat said. "We'd better get going if we want to get our schedules." I remind them. We split up to get our schedules because Ray and I are both juniors, but Kat and Mikey are sophomores. That meant different classes.

When we got our classes, we all compared. I had lunch fourth period, so did the rest of the group. The only class I had with Ray and Kat was art, my third period.

-Should I keep going? You tell me.-
