The next day Dominic came to Bess asking about the reunion see if she had fun.

“How was it last night I hope you had fun.”  

“I did.”  She wondered why he asking about it he didn’t care about it. He moved closer to her he had weird look on his face.”  

“Were you gonna tell me about the kiss you shared with Rusty. Don’t try to tell me nothing happened because I saw it with my own eyes.”  She just froze Bess wasn’t share what to say to him.

“Nothing happened I got caught up in moment you know old feelings coming back.”  That was a lie but she was sick and tired of fighting with him over stupid shit. She got walking towards the door.

“Why you walking away from me when we’re talking.”

“You don’t tell me what to do and plus I have somewhere to go.”

“It better not be with him.”  She didn’t answer she just left slamming the door behind her. He had to get work so he left too. As he was driving home from work he stopped by the supermarket to pick something up to eat then he saw Rusty and the two stopped.

“YOU.”  

“YOU.”  They were both mad after 28 years they still hated each other and more now that Dominic knew his wife still loved him. Rusty faked a smile at him

“How are things with you I heard you married Bess and kids.”  

“Yup things are good.”  He hated seeing him there and left without a goodbye Dominic wanted to punch him right in the face.  

A week later

Bess and Rusty were hanging at her house while Dominic was at work they started to kiss making out on the couch just at moment Dominic walked through the door. He was pissed. She jumped running to him.

“Asshole I saw you kissing my wife.”  

“Dominic wait.”  He gently shoved Bess out of the way moving toward to Rusty he was really pissed. Rusty got up standing chest to chest with him. All hell was gonna break through. 

“After 28 years you think you try once again to steal her away from me. Newsflash who did she marry.”  

“The last time I checked she came running to me it seems like she wants me more.”  

“Stay away from her she’s mine and she doesn’t want be around you.” Bess walked to them

“Don’t tell me what I want.”  

“Stay out of it baby.”  They started to throw punches at each other. Bess didn’t want to them to fight over her she wished they just put this all side. Just then Bess felt faint and kinda sick.

“Baby I don’t feel well.”  He didn’t hear her and she passed out half through the fight Rusty saw her lying on the floor. He ran over to her picking her up and running out the door. Dominic knew something was up and ran after him and saw his wife in his arms.

“What the fuck.”  

“Don’t start she needs help.”  He put her in the car driving away Dominic was mad and upset. He drove to the hospital to be with his wife. 

The hospital

“I need help she passed out and I don’t know what’s wrong with her.”  

“How long as she been like this and what’s her and birthday.”
