Chapter 3

Next day Marinette's POV

I woke up to a text message. I looked at it and it said 'Unknown Number'. I opened it up and I rolled my eyes. Guess who it was. Yep. Chloe Bourgeois.

<Unknown> "Listen here MariTrash. Leave Adrien alone. He's mine. Not yours. I told you that I'd make your life a living hell. Don't say I didn't warn you when I do something to ya. Like spill my lunch or drink on you. I'm telling you. Leave Adrien alone. I mean it. Anyway Take Care. Chloe Bourgeois. 😙"

"Ugh!" I screamed and threw my phone. Adrien woke up and looked  at me confused. "What now Mari?" He asked. "Look at the message someone sent me. I know who it is." He picked my phone and read it. "Don't worry about her. She's not worth any of your time." He said. "You're right." I said. "Wanna go get breakfast somewhere?" He asked. I nodded and we went to get dressed. I had on a turquoise crop top, ripped blue jean shorts, and black converse with my hair in a side braid. Adrien had on a grey t-shirt, black shorts, and white converse. We walked out and started to look for somewhere to eat. "After breakfast, wanna go for a swim?" I asked. He nodded.

After breakfast (I'm too lazy to write the breakfast part)
Adrien's POV

Mari and I were walking when we spotted a certain blonde running towards me. I grabbed Marinette's hand and ran away with her. "Adrien, what are we doing?" She asked me. "I'm not dealing with Bourgeois today." I said. She nodded and we were at the beach. I turned around and saw Chloe running after me. Man, that girl can never give up. "Hurry. She's behind us." I said. Mari nodded and we dove in. I was still holding her hand. We swam as fast as we can. "I think Chloe and Cole would be perfect together." Mari said. I laughed and agreed. We swam to a rock and sat there to rest with her laying her head on my lap. "Running away from Chloe or swimming away from Cole, I'm still having fun with you Adrien." She said. "Me too." I said. I'm in love with Mari. I leaned down and kissed her. She was shocked, but soon melted into the kiss. "Mari, I'm in love with you." I blurted out. I covered my mouth and blushed. She giggled and said, "Adrien, don't be embarrassed. I'm in love with you, too." My eyes lit up and I smiled. That made me so happy. "That makes me so happy." I said. She smiled. Her smile lights up a room.

3rd person POV

What Marinette and Adrien don't know, is that some merman was eavesdropping on there conversation and watching them kiss. The two love birds swam away with their fingers intertwined with each other's.

Marinette's POV

Adrien and I swam back to land and made sure that no one was there. Once we had our legs, we walked home. I really hope he asks me to be his girlfriend. We got home and went up to our room.

In their room

We sat down on the couch and watched a movie. "What movie do you want to watch?" Adrien asked. I wanted to watch Titanic but he hates that movie. "The Wraith." I said. (The Wraith is a really good movie. Picture at the top. I actually know the girl in it. You should look up the trailer) He nodded and turned it on. He wrapped his arm around me and I laid my head on him. I blushed hardcore. I looked like a tomato. "You're adorable when you blush." He said and kissed my cheek. I giggled. "I wanna ask you something." He said. "Go ahead." I said. He took a deep breath and turned around to face me. "Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked. I'm so happy. "Yes!" I said and kissed him. "I'm so happy." I said. "I am too." He said. Someone barged into the room. Guess who it was. If you guest Chloe. You're right. "Excuse me? You're Adrikins' girlfriend? Oh heck nah." She said and punched me. "CHLOE!" Adrien yelled. "She deserves it. I'm way better than her. She's a pig while I'm a majestic mermaid." She said. "Get out and don't ever come back to this house! Don't ever come near me or Marinette!" He said. She gasped and stomped out. Adrien ran towards my body on the ground. "Mari, are you alright?" He asked. I nodded. She gave me a black eye. "Yeah. Let's just finish the movie." I said. He nodded and we finished the movie. We watched that movie and all the Twilight movies. By the time all the movies were done, it was 10:30. I fell asleep on Adrien's shoulder and he picked me up and put me to bed.
