∆Roland's POV

I was nervous. That was the only word that could express how I felt at this moment. When I had got out of my shower I dressed and grabbed the flowers. That all seemed pretty easy but seeing as I had to go next door to Gannon's house made my stomach churn in nervousness.

As I walked to Gannon's house, which was next door, hah clearly, I was already considering not going at all. But after Kale gave me thumbs up I got a small bit of confidence back.

It quickly disappeared as Gannon's brother, Jonah opened the front door. He's probably going to tell me to get lost.

He was shoved aside and the flowers that were in my hands were taken away. I looked at Gannon who had a smile on his face and was gazing at the flowers with sparkling eyes.

He looked up and blushed. "The flowers are for you." I looked away and ran a hand through my hair.

"Thank you." I snapped my eyes to gaze into his, getting lost in the beautiful green.

"So Roland… taking my brother on a date?" Jonah asked a faint smirk on his face.

"Yeah. If he wants to." I turned to Gannon who was still looking at the flowers.

"I would love to." He smiled.

"Sorry to bust in but like I'm leaving now so…" Kales voice trailed off as he came to stand beside me. He was looking past Gannon at what I assume is the pretty painting on the wall opposite the front door, but when I looked at it I realized that Jonah was blocking it and had his eyes casted on Kale. He cleared his throat and looked away making Kale turn around and leave.

I watched as Gannon ran inside the house probably to leave the flowers in a vase. I leaned next to his house and looked up at the sky, silently praying that all this turned out as it was planned.

I felt a presence beside me and looked that way. Gannon had his gaze cast upward, looking at the sky. He looked very pretty just standing there, although I think he looks pretty everyday. He looked at me and I stared at him directly into his eyes.

He was gazing into mine as if silently asking me what I was thinking. I cleared my throat and he looked away. I chuckled at his red face.

"Do you want to go to the movies with me?" I asked him and saw how he shivered.

He nodded and I held out my arm to him, hoping he would catch the hint. He did, his arm entwined with mine making my heart skip a beat.

"I hope you don't mind walking there." I said, slightly worried. What if he wanted to take the car?

"Not at all." He said making me sigh in relief. At least now I know he doesn't mind walking there.

"Very well. I just thought it would be nice to walk there since the theater is not far away and the night is beautiful. Just like you." I whispered the last sentence to myself.

"I agree." I glanced at him from the corner of my eye. He had a smile on his face and looked like he was trying to contain his laughter.

"You look adorable when you try to not laugh." I teased and pinched his cheek. He blushed bright red making me chuckle.

"Did you like the flowers?" His eyes lit up at the mention of the flowers.

"Yeah! How did you know they were my favorite?" He asked with a raised eyebrow.

"You told me." I said slowly, he grinned.

"Of course I did." He giggled. His giggle being as contagious as ever made me laugh.
