Taileen's POVI felt tingles in my stomach when Trence immediately forgave me, and when he kept replying. It felt like I was given so much luck. Though it might not only be a feeling.
When he replied good night to me, I wanted to shout after I turned off my cellphone. I wanted to shout, keep giving me good luck, please! at the top of my lungs. But I don't want my lungs ripped out, literally, by my mother.
"I wish mom would return to her past self," I muttered. "The one who leaves you like a bubble."
Life would be so much better then.
But I know that'll happen soon, since she can't follow me there.

The next day, I woke up early. As I was finished, I tested my good luck in trying to escape the depths of hell, when the guards caught me. I, again, begged them to not inform my parents. I seem to have lost my pride.
"Young master, it seems like you have so much hard time." One of the maids, Clara, said with a pitying look.
"Right." I simply muttered. I jogged and left her there.
I went to the living room and saw my mom, sitting prettily on the sofa.
"I was waiting for you. What took you so long?"
"I saw a cat and made her go away. Since you have allergies and all." I lied, perfectly.
"Thanks for the concern." She simply said and signalled for me to go with her. I followed her.
(By the way, the dog me and Trence found is in Rin's care for now.)
We rode to school in silence. One that suffocates me.

Rin's POV
I waited at the parking lot for Taileen. That poor best friend of mine...what is that witch doing to her?!
When I saw her mom's car coming, I rushed and went there.
"Good morning Ms. Anderson, Tailee!" I cheerfully greeted Taileen and her mom.
"Who is this girl, Taileen?" Her mother asked, faking interest. "She seems to be fond of you. I remember meeting her last time. Are you really just classmates?"
From the tone of her mother's voice, I knew I've given her more trouble.
"Mom--"
"We really are just classmates!" I lied, hurt by my own words. "I just wanted to be close to Taileen, because she's the smartest and kindest girl in our class." I explained.
Taileen looked at me with sad eyes.
"Oh, is that so?" Her mother laughed. "It's quite hard to believe, but I guess Taileen has been trying hard recently," she eyed Taileen. "Too bad that won't change anything."
She had a scary and mysterious look. "Taileen, my love, tell her."

Trence's POV
I wasn't aware that I had fallen asleep somewhere in the library when some stranger woke me up.
“Young sir? It is inappropriate to sleep in the library." The woman said.
