Bluefur looked downwards at her sleeping kits it was snowing tonight so her kit's fur was slightly on end to deal with the harsh cold sorrow struck her heart and she knew she couldn't give up her kits it was an impossible task maybe she could give her kits to swiftbreeze to look after no what sort of mother would she be but in the end she couldn't let thistleclaw become deputy "Mistykit, Stonekit, Mosskit." she called quietly Stonekit was the first to answer "Y-Yes." he asked he was shivering for starclan's sake why was it so difficult she had to make her choice now
"Are you cold?" she asked calmly "freezing." he replied Mistykit woke up too and some time after her smallest and Youngest daughter woke up "Do you three Want to see your father?" she questioned "I'm too tired." complained mistykit curling into a small blue-grey ball of fur her son joined her mosskit looked up to her "Bluefur is thrushpelt really our father?" she gasped in alarm to herself "of course why would you think otherwise?" mosskit looked thoughtful "B-Because I don't look anything like him.." her voice trailed off when she heard a warning hiss from mousekit
