Life has become a repetitive grind for the soldiers who reside in the dead space around Jupiter's moon. On one side was a team led by a disgraced army general, shunned for his unethical guerrilla warfare tactics. He was shunned by his superiors and sent to fight this pointless battle for years.
He disagreed with many of the "laws" of war.
Many a times he would say how war is a bloody battle, a place without rules. If you refuse to shoot someone just because they are a doctor, then that no longer is war it is a game. He didn't like any "declarations of war" or "white flags".
Most of his erratic, violent behavior I will attribute to his early days spent in the colonial war on earth many years ago.
Upon returning he would recount many disturbing tales of having to sleep in his own filth, and experiences with consuming... ahem "long pig".
He has many distinguishable features, he has salt-and pepper hair slicked back and with some decent stubble. He is quite tall, standing at six feet tall. He has many tattoos, many not visible under uniform and/or Armour. The few recognizable are his Union tattoo which he selected to have on his neck, having three chevrons and a star to designate his rank as Sargent Major. He has an eye patch for seemingly no real reason, however many times opting to tell people that he lost it.
None of us are actually quite sure how old he is, but i'd call him somewhere around sixty.
During his time in this outpost, he has been the commander of the union squad and has suffered multiple injuries, including several broken ribs and minute injuries as well as in one case when he was dealing with a busted photon drive he received heavy lasserations to his left arm.
At current time, Seargent Major Freuden Stachel is an active soldier and will remain at current outpost station until further notice.
