chapter 22

           -3 months later-

A 15 year old girl was walking home from her friends house the night air was chill to the bone and wind rushed over her face making her even more cold she pulled up her hood to block some of the wind

She was about two blocks away from her apartment so she decided to take a short cut through an alleyway that she regularly used but never at night tho

She walked down alleyway it was mostly dark with only street lights lighting up the edges of alley and the moon lighting the rest but the light from the moon barely gave off a soft glow

She reached the middle of the alley where it was the most dark when suddenly a man appeared into her view she could see the body outline but nothing more she'd need to be closer to see his features

"Now what is a little girl like you doing out this late at night" the man said he had a raspy voice that sent chills down the girls spine

"I'm just on my way home from a friend's house that's all"

"Tell me would you happen to have any money or some food to spare I'm really hungry"

"No sir I don't I'm sorry"

"Well then maybe you can help me get something else"

The man stepped into the light he looked like he was in his late thirty's or early fortys he had on a brown coat with multiple patches on it and covered in dirt and grime his hair was brown and shaggy with a bald spot in the middle he had a small mustache small round glasses on

"And what could I help you with" the girl asked

"Well I'm homeless due to my ex wife divorcing me she took everything from me just from a little misunderstanding with my daughter and I'm very lonely and in a little....female companionship"

This man was making Ashley extremely uncomfortable

"I think I should be going home now" she said and tried to walk past him

"Oh come on and stay awhile" the man said then grabbed her by the shoulder

Ashley immediately started freaking out she reached into purse and pulled out a small can of mace and sprayed the man in the face the man let go of her grunting in pain wiping his eyes

Ashley then ran as fast as she could down the alley toward home but the man tackled her to the ground then picked her up and pinned her up against the wall

"You little bitch you'll pay for that" the man eyes were red from the mace hitting his eyes and tears streamed down his face from his eyes watering

"Help!" She yelled "someone help me!"

She was cut off when the man kissed her sticking his tongue​ in her mouth Ashley bit down on it hard as blood filled her mouth the man stopped and pulled his mouth away grunting in pain as he spit out the blood that filled his mouth but he still held her against the wall

"Oh now you've done it" said the man

Ashley spit the blood that was in her mouth into his face

The man got mad and withdrew a knife and held it to her throat giving him a hand free with the other hand he pulled out a roll of duct tape and tore a piece off and put it over Ashley's mouth so she couldn't scream

"Now we can have some fun" said the man

Ashley kicked him straight in the balls he fell to his knees in pain but still held the knife to Ashley's throat

Once he recovered from the blow he got back on his feet with a big smile on his face

"You know you remind me of my daughter she put up a fight like you did but she eventually gave in like you will"
