-Yay! My second chapter! Sorry for the short chapter. Again, if it weren't for

Zoey @ZoeyLovesYoutube (my editor), I wouldn't be doing this-

-Gerard's POV-

My third period was art. We had a table all to ourselves at the back of the class. I was sketching in my notebook and talking to Kat when someone came into the room. Mrs. Jackson introduced him to the class. "Class, this is Frank...uh." she said and seemed to struggle with his last name. "Iero." he said, "It's pronounced eye-ear-oh."

He did that so the teacher wouldn't butcher his name.

"Right, well go ahead and choose an available seat." Mrs Jackson said, pointing at the seats. He made his way to the back of the room, where we were. I got a good look at him for the first time. He had dark hair and hazel eyes. He wore the same uniform as everyone else, but he had a lip piercing and a nose ring. When he waved, I caught a glimpse of black nail polish. Damn, he was cute.

"Hey, I'm new." he said. Kat rolled her eyes. "Yeah, we figured." What's her damage? "Don't pay attention to her." Ray said to Frank,"I'm Ray, that's Kat, and this is Gerard." At this point, I might as well say something. "So, how you like New Jersey so far?" I ask. "Actually," he said, "I've lived in New Jersey my whole life. I'm just new to Belleville."

Kat seemed interested then. "Why'd you move?" she asked. I frowned, "You don't have to answer that if you don't want to." It could be a personal question, and I didn't want to scare him away. "No, it's fine." he said. "The kids at my old school had trouble accepting who I was." What did that mean? I didn't bother asking. Kat, on the other hand, went right ahead, "You gay or something?"

"Kitty! You can't just ask him that!" Ray said, as if he read my mind. "Actually, I am." Frank said, nonchalant. "Really!?!" she said. "Finally, someone other than Gerard and me."

Frank looked mildly amused. "You're lesbian?" he asked Kat. "I'm bi, actually. Gee's gay though." she answered. He looked over at me. I waved. "Enough of that." Ray said. "So what kind of music do you listen to?"

Frank's eyes seemed to light up when he asked. "I listen to Queen, Misfits, Black Flag, Iron Maiden, The Cure, Joy Division, The Smiths, and Morrissey."

"Cool! We listen to all those too!" Kat said.

I checked the clock. Damn, this class was almost over. "Hey, Frank, when's your lunch period?" I asked. "Uh, that's next on my schedule. Why?" He replied. Well that's just perfect.

"You wanna sit with us?" I asked. "Sure, why not?" he replied. I smiled. As cheesy as it sound, I have a feeling we're going to become really close friends.

- How was that? I listen to music while writing and I've seen other people add that to their writing. So while writing this, I listened to the entire Hesitant Alien album and What Difference Does It Make, How Soon Is Now, This Charming Man, Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now, Cemetery Gates, and William, It Was Really Nothing. All of those (with the exception of Hesitant Alien) are by The Smiths.-
