"I still don't understand what the point of the game is," Zenyatta said, dying for the twenty-third time. "What is the purpose of chasing around the opposite team and murdering them?" Mr. Shi was on his lap, purring away. He reached down and stroked the cat's head.

Genji, on the other hand, had just reached a 'Ten Player Kill Streak'. This apparently granted him a bomb of sorts. The leaderboard in the corner showed that he was in first.

"There's not a purpose, it's supposed to be fun," Genji replied. He didn't look away from the screen.

There was no one else in the house. Hanzo was out on a date with Jesse (not surprisingly). In turn, Genji invited Zenyatta over.

As of late, he frequently found himself over at the Shimada household. Zenyatta really enjoyed getting to know more about the two. They were both interesting in their own ways.

The cats too, of course.

They both technically owned the house, since they both paid the bills and such. Genji never told him what his father's career was, but it was certainly something that earned a pretty penny.

From what he gathered, his father had died a few years back from an illness. He must have had a close relationship with the man. Whenever it was brought up, he would look less upbeat than he usually was.

He was snapped out of his thoughts by the shrill scream of Genji's phone. He picked it up and said, "Hello?"

After a few seconds, his eyes went wide. He logged out of the game (A bit of a disappointment, since Zenyatta was starting to get a hang of the controls) and sat up.

"What? Dude, no way! Are you joking?" Genji glanced over to Zenyatta with a smile so wide that he saw all of his teeth. He began to bite at his nails. "Tonight? No... No, absolutely! Yeah! Where at?"

His behavior was endearing. He was standing on top of the couch by then, hopping from cushion to cushion.

"This is great. Sure thing." He hung up and danced on the couch.

"What happened?" Zenyatta asked. He set down the controller and watched the other bounce around with joy.

Genji hopped down and ran up to him. He took his hands, looked him in the eyes and said, "How do you feel about racing?"

As they zoomed down some unknown backroad, Zenyatta asked, "Isn't this dangerous?"

"Well, yeah," Genji shrugged.

"And very illegal?"

"Mhm."

"And you're... still going to participate?" Zenyatta frowned.

Genji rolled his eyes. "I've done this plenty of times. I know the road we're taking like it's the back of my hand. Besides, it's the perfect track to avoid any police. Do you know what they say?"

"I do not."

"Anything's legal when the cops aren't around," he said. He sneakily glanced at him, wiggling his eyebrows. This made Zenyatta chuckle.

The tree filled land faded quickly into wide, snow-covered fields. While March was just around the corner, the snow didn't show any sign of melting. In fact, it only seemed to grow colder.
