I felt the burning sunrays trying to get into my eyes which caused me to slowly open my eyes. I move slowly and realized that I was on a sleeping Chris.

He looked so cute.

I kissed his chin and slid out of his grip. I exited the room and made my way over to the bathroom. Unfortunately it was locked. I knocked on the door.

"What?" Melody yelled.

I didn't answer and made my way back to Chris' room. He was still sleeping. I laid back beside him and ran my fingers up and down his chest.

"Stop, that tickles." I looked up to see a smiling Chris. I chuckled and sat up.

"Sorry, I thought you were deep in your sleep."

He sat up and looked at me. "So, that made you think you could tickle me in my sleep?"

"No, it's just-"

He cut me off with a quick kiss on my lips. "I'm just playing with you."

He got up off the bed and went over to his closet to put on a shirt since he was shirtless.

"Hey, have you seen my phone?" I began to look for my phone.

"I used it last night to call your mom and tell her that you were sleeping over." Chris informed.

My phone was nowhere to be found.

"Then where is it?" I asked and he looked at his nightstand.

"It was on the nightstand."

I sighed and ran my hand through my messy hair.

"Maybe it's downstairs or something." Chris shrugged.

I exited his room and got downstairs. Emily was on the couch watching Peppa Pig while eating cereal.

"Hey, Emily." I sat beside her. She smiled and put down her bowl.

"Hi,Nessa!" She said in her usual happy tone.

"Have you seen my phone?" I asked her since she is always playing games on my phone.

"I saw Melody with it." She said.

I looked at her. "Where is she?"

"She is in the kitchen."

I got up and rushed to the kitchen only to see Melody on my phone.

"Okay. Bye." She whispered and removed my phone from her ear.

She turned around and stopped in her tracks when she saw me.

"Vanessa?" She looked frightened.

"What are you doing with my phone?" I asked.

"Uh, I wanted to call someone."

"With my phone?" I grabbed my phone out of her hand and looked at her.

Unbelievable.

"Did you find," Chris stopped when he saw me and Melody,"it."

I smiled and walked up to him. "Um, yeah." I gave him a peck on his lip. "I'm gonna take a shower and head home."

"I'm driving you."

I rolled my eyes. "Obviously."

I ran upstairs and got to the bathroom.

A shower was just what I needed to wash away all my worries.

After I finished shower, I leave the bathroom and enter Chris' room. I dry my body and put on some undergarments before wrapping the towel around my hair. I search through his closet and finally find a pair of ripped jeans and a white laced up tee.

I quickly put them on and dry my hair. I left my hair fussy and half dry and went downstairs. Chris was on the couch playing with Emily while Mary was watching the television.

"Chris, I'm ready to go." I said as I approached them.

"You're going. Already!" Emily jumped out of Chris' grip and hugged my knees. "Don't go. You haven't played with me yet."

I chuckled and patted her back. "Sorry, Em, but my mom's probably worrying right now."

She looked up at me and pouted. "Okay. But when you sleepover again, can you spend time with me and not Chris?"

I chuckled and looked at Chris. "Sure."

She grinned and ran back upstairs. Mary got up and sighed. "Well, I guess I'll see soon." She waved at me before heading into the kitchen.

"Come on." I grabbed  Chris' arm and pulled him out his house and to his car. I got into the passenger seat while he got in the driver's seat. He pulled out of his driveway and began to  drive me home. "You have quite an effect on Emily, huh?" He asked. I chuckled and nodded. "I guess.. she's so adorable and sweet." I smiled to myself.

The rest of the drive was silent and somehow it felt soothing to me. He stopped infont of my house and I looked at him. "I'll see you tomorrow." I gave him a kiss on his lips and pulled away. He held on to my waist, trying to pull me onto his lap, but I removed his hands. "Chris, I'll see you tomorrow." I grinned at him and opened the door. "Alright. Just know that I'll miss you all day." He commented. "Stop being so dramatic." I chuckled at him.

"Didn't your mom carry Emily to the doctor? She's seems perfectly fine today." I asked. "My mom said it was just a small cold." He shrugged. "Okay, bye. I love you." I gave him one more kiss before stepping out the car. "I love you." He replied before driving off.

I smiled at him and entered my home only to be greeted with my mom watching tv on the couch. "Hey mom." I greeted as I plopped down on the couch beside her. "Hi, sweetie." She smiled at me.

"Do you want to go shopping?" She asked. "Why?" I looked at her strangely.

My mom isn't really the kind of person to go out often so this was new to me.

"Well, we both need new clothes and I just got paid and I just want to hang out my daughter." She nudged my arm. I smiled at her. "Sure, mom. Just let me get my charger cause my phone is about to die." I told her and got up off the couch before running up to my room and grabbing my charger of my bed that was unbelievably messy and I haven't slept in it for two days straight.

I decided to change the covers when I got back from the mall with mom and headed back downstairs to see my mom with her heels on and her handbag hooked on her arm.

"Ready?" She asked as I approached her. I nodded and we both exited the house.

The rest of my evening was spent well with my mom.
