Darkness was all I could see
The way the sun met the ocean blinded me
I attempted to open my eyes
But nothing availed me
I felt a hand touch my knee
Giving me the gift of a honest sight
It was then my eyes opened
The gleam was no longer overpowering me
The sun went down and it was time for peace
