Me and my clan have moved here. We are the Syco clan. My name is Zayn Malik. My mates are Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, and Niall Horan. Today we start school once again.
We have been alive for over 500 years. Each year we move to a new place. It's getting tiring really, so we decide to make ourselves look like freshmen. I hope to find my mate, here at Butte High School. We get out of the car, and I immediately smell something wonderful.
The blood of my mate. He's definitely not a vampire like me. Niall and Liam get out of the car, holding hands, as do Louis and Harry. They were mated together, luckily all four of them being vampires. Niall and Liam we're different from Louis and Harry. They spent years figuring out that they were mates. They didn't even listen to their inner vampire.
We walk into the office and I put our names in. The lady gives us our stuff and I hand them out.
"Okay, boys," I say, "we all need to be on our best behavior. If you need blood, go to a closet or the washroom." They all nod their heads and we all head our separate ways. Suddenly, the scent I was smelling becomes stronger, I walk into the classroom and find the source of the delightful aroma.
There is a boy. About 17. He has brunette hair that goes over his right eye. He seems to have ocean blue eyes, even more blue than Louis and Niall. I feel myself drawn to him. I know I have finally found my mate. I walk to the back of the class after introducing myself. I tap him on the shoulder and he looks up, eyes widening.
"Mind if I sit here?" I ask.
"S-s-sure. G-go for it," he stutters. I sit down and it takes all of my might to not kiss him.
"I'm Zayn. Zayn Malik," I say, holding out my hand.
"I'm Sam," he says, a bit more confident, "Sam Ryland," he shakes my hand and I can tell he feels what I feel sparks.
"So, Sam. Tell me about yourself," I say. He looks down, blushing.
"Okay," He says. "Well I'm kinda nerdy if you can't tell. I'm not the best looking either," I shake my head, and he seems to get my drift," sorry. I'm gay and I've never had a boyfriend. I wish I did though. I'm from London and I really like to listen to music. Nobody really likes me here. I get bullied all the time." I hear him say the last part, and my non-beating heart shatters. I lift his head up, as he had his head down the whole time.
"I think you're perfect, Sam. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise," I kiss him on the cheek and he blushes. He mutters a "Thanks" and sits in his seat, preparing for the boring day ahead, as am I.
