Black. Black was all I could see as I laid in a room. I couldn't see one thing at all; I couldn't move a muscle. I don't remember much of what happened or why I'm here, but the last thing I remember was my boyfriend, Frankie, telling me he wish that I'd die. So I stormed out of his house and drove home through the pouring rain. That's all I remember.

Slowly, the darkness began to fade into a dull turquoise colored room. A loud beeping noise was heard in the distance.

"Megan," a familiar male voice gasped. A hand touched mine and my eyes fluttered open and I saw Frankie. I closed my eyes tightly.

"Go away," I told Frankie.

"Meg," he said. "I'm so sorry! I love you." Tears fell from his eyes. Frankie was crying. "I love you."

"Where am I?" I asked, although I didn't want to speak to him.

"Hospital," he said. "You've been in a coma for three weeks. You got in a car accident."

"It's your fault!" I cried, coming to realization. "You told me that you wish I'd die!"

A nurse came in the room, recognizing the spike in my blood pressure. "You're finally awake," she said. She was young and she was pregnant.

"I guess so," I said. "What happened?"

"You were in a car accident, don't you remember?" the nurse asked.

I shook my head and stretched my arms. "Get out, Frankie!" I cried. I sobbed. "Just get out!"

"Megan!" Mom screamed, pulling herself in the room. "Don't yell at your boyfriend! It's not his fault!"

"GET OUT!" I yelled at him, smacking his hand that rested on my bedside.

"I love you, Meggy. I'll see you later," Frankie said, placing a kiss on my hand and leaving my room.

"Don't touch me," I yelled after him. "You hate me!"

"Megan Francesca Denham!" my mother said. "Frank loves you! Don't mess things up like you did with Anthony. Anthony was too good for you and you screwed up as usual..."

"ANTHONY CHEATED ON ME! I HAD EVERY RIGHT TO BREAK UP WITH HIM!" I argued. "Frankie told me..." I drifted off.

"Spit it out Megan!" my mom demanded.

"He told me that he wish I'd die," I said.

"Oh," she said. "Why?"

"We got in a fight because..."

"Nothing," I said.

"Tell me," she said. My mom actually had a caring look on her face.

I shook my head. There was no way I was going to tell my mom that we got in a fight because I wasn't ready to have sex with him. Frankie and I had only been going out two and a half months. Anthony and I were going out a year and he cheated on me. He never even asked me if I wanted to do anything.

"Fine," she said. "I'm going to go call your father."

"Okay," I said. After she left, I sighed and looked at the nurse. "Has it been this hectic while I was asleep?"

"You can say that again. Your boyfriend seemed pretty upset. He's been here every day from at least 1 PM- 10 PM. You guys fought over sex... didn't you?" she asked.

"Yeah," I said, "but if I told my mother about it she probably would've blamed it on me in one way or another. She always takes my ex-boyfriends' sides. It's so annoying. I can't stand it!"

The doctor came in and he started to examine me. I had just woken up from a coma. The doctor was hot. "You can touch me all you want," I said to the doctor. He just laughed and flashed me a pure white smile of straight teeth.
