Looking back to the preceding pages of life,
I remember some things that weren’t nice
Slices of the past so clear,
I feel my emotions near
All of life’s lessons, that I once mistook,
But now it’s here, in my minds invisible book
Sadness, joy, fear, and excitement,
All emotions part of life’s enlightenment
Whether or not, you review your past and learn its lesson,
It’s always there, like a rotten confession.
